Absolutely loved that cape and that look on Adam! I saw an old clip (new to me) last night of Brian being interviewed about the BoRap movie. He was saying how grateful he was to have Rami play Freddie. He also said he didn't think Sasha took Freddie seriously and seemed to want to play him as a joke. When I first heard Sasha would play the part, my first thought was UGH. He often had portrayed gay men as jokes and OTT stereotypes. I doubt I would have paid to see the movie if he had remained the lead. Freddie was flamboyant but he was not a stereotype to be made fun of. I never find those exaggerated gay men stereotypes to be funny, cute nor interesting. And that was not how people viewed Freddie with Queen. So I would have hated seeing Freddie treated as undignified, not serious or only about sex. Brian was very wise to say no to that lane. I don't think the movie would have been as successful or big if Sasha had gotten his way. It seems "Elvis" is on track to become the biggest Music biopic behind BoRap but I don't think they will overtake BoRap.

Little feedback... If I wasn't a "super fan" like the rest of us here - being aware of Adam's solo mini tour in October and in my case owning tickets by now - I would have hardly any clue if I came here as a casual fan that Adam has concerts of his own scheduled in less than 3 months. Is that an afterthought by now? I understand that Adam is more high profile as the Queen frontman, which may be easier and more validating for us to celebrate, but that gig could be over in a snap. While I appreciate his accomplishments and visibility with Queen, I personally am still very much invested in Adam's solo career - I love his own music and I am excited for October, but I am wondering how many fans still feel the same way. Who is going? Edit: Thanks pi for the post on page1 about the chance to win tickets at the Hollywood Palladium.

I think the solo tour dates have been posted pretty much every day in the OP...well, except for today. Did I miss something?

Or, perhaps it’ll pick up closer to the dates… I’m sure Adam can fill the LA venue with his friends no problem but the rest need some advertisement imo.

I have seen occasional official posts on twitter from venues and Ticketmaster, but not much "commotion" otherwise, even from his own fandom. Covid weariness might be a reason, but that didn't stop people in Europe to head to the arenas. Fingers crossed for a bit more promotion once we get closer to the dates. A tv appearance would be nice to remind folks that Adam Lambert is still out there and that there are tickets available.

Well, my butt is staying home...can't afford to get sick and Covid still abounds.
If we hear that they're offering a livestream option, I'll be there!

Did I miss something? oh okay, got it. May be I just picked a day to check in when the dates weren't posted. svca, I understand that you don't want to take any risks with regards to Covid. Fingers crossed for you (and others) that there will be a livestream.

Thanks, Sizzling...crossing fingers and toes for that livestream. I bought tickets for both Roxy concerts and that was so much fun! I even bought a couple of tees.
But this time, if they do offer a livestream, I must remember to buy some wine to enjoy with the concert lol.
