Helena, you asked if there is Adam fanfic. I know there used to be plenty, especially in the early years, but unfortunately I can’t help you with finding it as I was never interested in reading it. Perhaps someone here can direct you. Somewhere in LiveJournal land?

After hundreds of outstanding shows over 13 years the Fantasy Springs #1 WLL is still the most breathtaking performance for me. I’ll never forgive myself for not being there. youtu.be/1ljb_JsvUEcI don't even like that song, but I've watched this performance dozens and dozens of times. The first time I saw it, my jaw dropped. And on the shallow side, I thought he looked really, really sexy.

Was it Morongo where Adam sang Ghost Town with the light-up shirt and the big hat? I really liked that performance. Yup! I almost posted this as well, but I felt like I was getting a bit spammy! www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HaDp-jWAP4I remember watching quite a few of the Morongo videos, and it sure seemed like the energy of the audience was off the charts.

That's where I originally started following Adam.

I don't think he has to in QAL either. It was needed the first few years (maybe) but after many years the purpose was sorta lost. It only gives the press a chance to say agree you are not Freddie. But Adam nor his fans ever thought he was, lol. Adam is just fine being Adam the current Queen frontman. With the price of those tickets, and so much acclaim for the Queen and Adam collaboration, people knew who they were coming to see and loved them all.

I get emails from Broadway on Demand and today they were advertising a film called The Standbys. "Every night on Broadway, dozens of the best performers aren't on stage. They are backstage, standing by, ready to go on at a moments notice. The unique and challenging lives of Broadways Understudies and Standbys are finally revealed. Witness never-heard-before stories from industry insiders and performers as they reveal the struggles and triumphs that these talented yet under-appreciated individuals endure as they wait in the wings for their shot at performing on Broadway." I am so, so happy Adam quit his Wicked job and took a chance on American Idol!!!! We watched "The Standbys" today following your recommendation, and it was so worth it. I too feel very grateful and happy for Adam that he took the risk and quit his job as the Fiyero understudy to try out for Idol. Interesting enough, being an understudy doesn't seem like the worst of the less glamorous theatre gigs as the person is still able to perform in the ensemble. What seems even worse for me is being stuck behind the curtain as a "standby" (for one specific role) or as a "swinger" (being prepared to fill in for anybody). I thought about Adam a lot watching "The Standbys", and it gave me renewed appreciation and perspective of how far he has come.

Hi helena, nice to learn about your current indulgences in Adam's "sweet shop". I have been a fan since it all started for Adam on American Idol, so I can recall many great events and milestones but I am not very organized when it comes to documenting it all chronologically. I'll point a few out and hopefully you will be able to search for them, in case you haven't yet. It looks like you have already covered the Glamnation tour, which happened right after Idol, but I am wondering if you have watched any of Adam's performances during his guest appearance on one season of "Glee", with Marry The Night the most prominent one? Again I am not good at timelines. Other than that, Adam's iHeartRadio closing performance with Queen in Vegas was pretty significant, as it was so well received that it prompted their first international tour. When it comes to solo Adam, I saw him quite a lot of times during his Trespassing chapter, and the two concerts that I remember fondly were Del Mar/San Diego as well as Fantasy Springs #2, though my favorite chapter so far in terms of solo concert experiences was The Original High Tour. I think there is good video footage from his concerts at The Orpheum in LA. I am sure all that stuff pops up if you do a Youtube search. Have you seen the documentary "The Show Must Go On?" (I believe that's the correct title) When did you become a fan? As you seem to be from the UK, did you become a fan through Queen? Thank you so much ❤️ I will work my way through! Saw QAL at the 02 in July 2018 and didn’t become a convert to Glambertism then … but the concert blew me away. So much so I saw QAL twice in Birmingham this year (my home town) and I was absolutely hooked!! Saw the documentary immediately after and it just confirmed my decision 🤣🥰 Xx

Helena - I think I'm on a similar journey as you. I only became aware of Adam this year. To the long time fans that must sound really strange but it's true! I've also been going back reading the daily news by date - so many great videos, articles etc. All wonderful - thanks everyone! I don't know how many hours I've spent watching You Tube videos! Obviously by being late to the Glambert party I've missed all the excitement of following Adam's career so far, so it's great to have the news organised by date, I loved reading about all the speculation and excitement before the first QAL collab at the EMAs and then the first QAL tour. Hopefully I'll get to see Adam in a solo concert sometime. I went to 2 QAL concerts in the summer which were amazing. Anyway, I just wanted to add my thanks - and I'm so glad I found this site. 🥰🥰 lovely. Can so relate! 🥰🥰
