I’ve only been following QAL since around early 2019, is it usual for them not to have future plans announced after a tour? I think the Europe 2020 dates were already announced in 2019. South America makes sense since they have not seen the Rhapsody Tour. If they would come back to US, I assume they need a new “theme”. Yes, it’s normal. Especially after this Rhapsody Tour seems to be complete now. They always have long breaks (3-12 months) between their tours or tour legs. Then suddenly they announce new shows. Sometimes only 3 months in advance. Last time - in mid-late September 2019 - they announced the European tour for summer 2020 after midnight in Europe! With the ticket sale starting at 10 am the next morning! It was a nightmare and I was just very lucky, that I was still up that night and for some reason didn’t have to work the next day. Many fans, who didn’t check on social media before work in the morning or didn’t follow the band or Adam that closely, got a bad surprise after they came home in the afternoon after work. I would have been one of them, had I not been lucky. I remember Brian explaining, that they did it this way to surprise the scalpers and not giving them a chance to grab the tickets before the fans. Well, but did he really expect all the fans to go online between 1 am and before work? |

So many great songs out there that Adam would totally own...not that I'm biased or anything lol.
ETA: I cannot, for some reason, get into Rihanna's voice at all.

Rihanna's Love On the Brain and Stay are my favorites from her. She puts so much emotion in them. We heard Adam do Stay so I would love for him to do Love on the Brain. He would be spectacular.

Haley has a really good voice. She was on AI too, wasn't she?
And I like that first video, Billy Vera. Don't know who he is, but I know the song.
Re Rihanna, I think I'm overall not a big fan of those scratchy voices, ie Rihanna and Adele. The music never sounds on pitch.

Haley has a really good voice. She was on AI too, wasn't she? And I like that first video, Billy Vera. Don't know who he is, but I know the song. Re Rihanna, I think I'm overall not a big fan of those scratchy voices, ie Rihanna and Adele. The music never sounds on pitch. Funny that is how I feel about Demi. I like Adele and Rihanna just fine as far a female singers. But Demi always sounds like she is screeching to me. Don't like her singing at all but I have heard others say they love her voice so there is that, lol. And yes Haley was on AI. |

It's interesting how these singers hit each of us differently. I love Adam singing "Stay." Quite honestly, I had never heard the song before I heard him sing it. Actually, I've never heard Rihanna's voice (that I know of) until I just heard it on the vide on this thread. I always assumed that her voice was "bigger," but it really isn't, IMO. Doesn't have Adam's richness. I love his version of "Stay." Demi's voice is "just fine" but a bit thin. Adele has a really good voice that is very recognizable. Haley is ok. I'd love to hear Adam cover any of these songs. He always nails a cover.
