My Gawd that boy is classic leading man gorgeous!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SMOKEYVERA AND PICTUREPATH!!!!I'm glad the boot song is David Cook and not Adam.....don't really want Adam joined at the hip with Idol. I DO hope he performs on the show though....and like others I'm a wee bit nervous about that "dance" Aftermath, but trust everyone concerned with the song knows what they're doing. They all seem so pleased with it.  |

If Adam ever gets the exit song on Idol, I hope it is one of his own, not a cover. And as far as being worried about AFTERMATH as a dance song, Not worried one bit! If Adam was involved in the redo process, I have complete faith that it will be really good. Always giving us what we didn't know we wanted!  |

What surprised me is that as we continued to talk, I realized that even my sister notices how excited I am about music again. Opening myself up to new music has symbolically been a floodgate for me of opening myself up to all kinds of new things in life. Even better, it has been revitalizing- a real catalyst for reconnecting my middle aged self with that youthful sense of wonder and discovery that sometimes gets buried as we grow into big responsibilities and life challenges. For that, I will forever be grateful to Adam Lambert. At the same time, Adam himself has reminded me to reach out and take what the world offers, to enjoy the moment, to release the negative and to be generous in giving time, service and recognition to others. He has reminded me that you get back what you give away. Lynne, loved your whole post! It speaks volumes to me and I especially loved the part I quoted above. You said what my heart feels. I have always loved music but with the responsibilities of raising kids and being "grown up", I forgot how liberating it could be and Adam was the catalyst for throwing myself back into it whole hog. I love talking to my teenager about music and he has exposed me to stuff I wouldn't have been open to pre-Adam. Also, whenever there is a big party at our house or a friend's house - they call me to put together the music mix - and I have had a ball doing it for friends with different personalities and different sort of parties (and yes, there is ALWAYS some Adam thrown in!!). I feel so young again and it has nothing to do with age!!! |

Smokeyvera and Picturepath   The pics of Adam out and about in Denver...he is sexier with his 25 layers of clothes than all those bare-chested guys combined. IMHO Some of you may agree. I have complete trust in his musical choices, but I am still a little skeered about a dancey Aftermath in a Blondes getup on Idol. I don't wanna have to put my forcefieldup#.
