I love Underneath so much...it was love at first listen for me. But for me, it's the album version all the way...I find all the yelling way too distracting.
Thanks for posting that video, I hadn't seen that yet either.

Ah, I was lucky to have gone to the Ste Agathe festival when he sang that as a preview to the album. We are in the northeast of the US, had a few vacation days, and could drive there, stay in a barebones motel (my hubby made friends with the truck driver in the unit next door), and afterwards we met Marie of Madame's Treasure Chest in Montreal. Memories of travels for the sake of Adam.

Blessed to see the starstruck recording last night ❤️ And we got put in “first class” at the front so an incredible view.
Adam looked incredible. Wish we could tell you so much more but his outfit was on point and his singing was incredible 👍🏻 For those who may be going, it is a LONG session. Take a fan (as it was so so hot) water and snacks although getting out to the toilet isn’t easy.
We got in the queue at 3:30pm (about 1/4 of the way down, maybe slightly closer to the front), for let in at around 5:30-5:45pm (so 2 hours standing in the queue - thank goodness for wonderful people and other glamberts near by) and then eventually left after the filming at 10:30pm. it was such a long session - but so worth it to be sat just about 10 foot away from Adam for almost 3.5 hours!!!!!!!
People tried to call him at the end but he didn’t stay to say hi, he was gone.
I had a terrible migraine driving home but my heart was so happy!

Sooo amazing. AMAZING…AMAZING. First I have seen this vid. This interpretation of his own song —-really digs deep into the meaning. Reminds me of Believe, and how the words are there, but whole new levels of feelings emerge. Thanks for posting. Made my day! And to hear those male voices cheering…especially noting that the context of the wording can be “felt” by others…🙃 Ok, let's talk falsetto. I'm not sure he's actually using it but I like it. So much better than when he tried to sing Ghost Town with falsetto. In this he keeps his bell tone and isn't breathy. |
