twitter.com/graziatweets/status/1571121886284619776Singer Adam Lambert (who is currently collaborating with the iconic British band Queen as their lead vocalist) performed during the presentation and closed out the show with an emotional rendition of “Who Wants to Live Forever.” Reed sang Lambert’s praises on Instagram. “When my partner and I saw you performing in queen at the O2 in all your crystals and makeup and the entire arena cheered, smiled, and embraced you for you, I have never cried so much,” wrote Reed. “Isn’t the ultimate dream being so deeply yourself you have never felt more you and at the same time the world embraces, doesn’t judge or box you in but LOVES YOU FOR YOU.”

About Adam trending in the UK: As I understand it, Twitter knows our interests. So if you‘ve searched „Adam Lambert“ in the recent past, it doesn’t take much to make him appear in your trends. Unless there’s a huge number of tweets written below, he’s just your personal trend. At least that’s how I’ve experienced it.

Croatia twitter.com/dianik_bg/status/1571243453329162241For the occasion, Reed hired the current singer of the Queen group, Adam Lambert , who performed the aria "Nessun dorma" and the song "Who Wants to Live Forever" for the audience . The latter was written by Queen's guitarist Brian May as a soundtrack for the movie "Highlander", and the song can be interpreted as extremely symbolic for the occasion. It is inspired by immortal heroes who do not age, and the lyrics "Who wants to live forever?" are based on the main character who stays young while the love of his life dies of old age. Queen did not connect the song directly with the film so that those who were not enthusiastic about the screen version would accept the music, so the focus of the song was the story of a hero who watches his wife die and because of which he feels an indescribable sadness that he cannot express. It is also interesting to note that this particular song was the fifth most performed at funerals in Great Britain. www.youtube.com/watch?v=60WhaX-bcOE&t=1s

Of course, it’s ultimately down to what will make Adam happy, but I think he should move to London. There and in other countries in Europe ( looking at you, Italy!) he is a hot commodity. We all know how versatile he is. It also wouldn’t hurt for him to strike while the iron is hot, so to speak, by growing his presence that being frontman of Queen entails while they are actively still touring. Every mention I saw from the fashion show mentioned him as Queen Frontman; of course, they would. Even though they are world performers, they are at their heart a British band, and I have a feeling that at this point, many people there feel a s ort of “ownership” of Adam as well, through that connection. The kind of recognition that so many of us feel Adam deserves in America might just travel west across the pond. It’s hardly unheard of. Anything he needed to do here in the States would be easy enough, and he already has a house. It wouldn’t have to be forever, but “soon-ish” might be the best time if he happened to ever even think of such a thing. Don’t mind my prattle: it’s 4:30 a.m. where I live, and I haven’t slept at all tonight. 😫🥺 I think Adam is probably wondering how much longer the Queen gig and the notoriety that comes with it would last. However, just like you I have been wondering why he hasn't gotten a second home in Europe yet. It's probably for the same reason why he never made the move to NYC while pursuing theater. LA seems to be his place where he feels settled and comfortable. How have you been phronni7 ?
