I don't know her source: Squiggles621 Becca Adam Lambert's Better Than I Know Myself sold 6,000 downloads last week (-66%, 66,000 release-to-date) 5 minutes ago ETA: Okay, from here. content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2012/01/Your-Random-Weekend-Memo-603181/1Also, I got some late Nielsen SoundScan numbers that should please a couple of fanbases: Adam Lambert's Better Than I Know Myself sold 6,000 downloads last week (-66%, 66,000 release-to-date), and Clay Aiken's new single Bring Back My Love sold about 400, for a total of 5,000.

I'll continue with my topic I brought up. The album cover.
The other day I tweeted that I thought the album cover is gonna be his face (or perhaps his whole body) with one half illuminated and the other half in the shadows to represent the light/dark side of his music theme. This could look really cool in black and white with, like, police caution tape in bright yellow being the only thing in color with the title Trespassing instead of the word caution. Ya know?
Or whatever, but basically that is my guess. The cover will have SOME sort of light and dark interplay. I'd be very surprised if that wasn't incorporated since it seems to be a pretty big creative inspiration for this album.

Interesting concept chunkey. I would add a face in the shadows representing Sauli and this would be behind the tape as he would not want anyone trespassing to far into his private life.

GUYS I FEEL LIKE WE NEED TO DISCUSS JAMES DURBIN MOAR. IDK WHY I BUT I JUST DON'T FEEL LIKE WE HAVE ADEQUATELY BEATEN THIS BUSH TO THE GROUND YET. I'll throw out a topic--Doorags. What's THAT all about? . . . . . . lolololjk here's a better topic...Album cover. What do we think it will be? Discuss. =b Much more interesting topic. I envision a split face album showing a dark haunting side on the left and a bright beautiful right half. Too literal? Eta: I swear I wrote this before reading chunkey's vision

This!! I don't think ANYONE is judging James FOR his issues. They are scrutinizing him IN SPITE of them. I think what most of us are saying is it is not a free pass to not learn from mistakes, to be boorish and egotistical and to be an inferior singer when he has been giving an incredible opportunity. This conversation brought up a parallel with me. I had a brother who died in 2002. He was severe ADHD and diagnosed at the age of 4. Though not as much was understood about ADD/ADHD in the early '70s, there was still quite a bit. I wrote a documentary about the Ritalin debates in college and M was a classic adult ADHD. One primary factor that tends to be carried through adulthood is that they have problems with cause-and-effect rationale. Meaning, they don't apply past mistakes to current behavior and end up making the same mistakes over and over. They can be highly intelligent but lack common sense. This was M. He could be very sweet when he wanted to be. He was incredibly smart and hardworking, when able to focus. However, he would let his mouth get the better of him and almost inevitably tell off his boss and end up fired, despite knowing his job inside-out and working harder than anyone else. (This happened repeatedly throughout his 20s and he died at 32.) Even if his boss knew of his issues, when an employee tells you FU to your face, you're going to fire them. This is the real world. This is what others with similar issues have to deal with. James is not exempt is all we're saying and all the compassion I might or might not express will not prevent some audience member at an NFL game from booing the performer who they perceive as not good (they don't know the whys or wherefores). He was coddled on AI and this is where it has ended up. With a little compassionate critique (if he was willing to listen and adjust), he could be killing it right now because he is a very enthusiastic performer and is getting great opportunities, but instead of benefiting him, they are hurting him. My son is severely ADHD, and nobody gives him a pass, especially kids. My family members speak to him about issues, but most of the time his mind is off somewhere else not listening. It took me 3 years to break one habit. But I finally got thru. It was finally when he understood the consequences of his behavior and lack of friends, it finally hit him. Susie Fierce is correct, cause and effect are not understood by people with these types of disabilities. If they are understood, they may not be able to process the situation, and act appropriately. Durbin may be one of these peeps that it may take years before he finally figures it all out. He needs someone to decode for him. I hope his girlfriend helps. As far as Durbin is concerned, I make some allowances, but his singing sucks!!!!!!!!! Adam was being nice, as he usually is.

Not to mention the fact that he really likes that black/white skull hanging over his fireplace & it looked like a replica in the video. Adam is not subtle
