Brussels sprouts are one of my favorite foods- YUM!! Steam lightly add salt, butter, and parmesan- nothing better. In my long and extremely detailed Adam fantasy they are on the menu for the dinner I make him along with salmon, rice pilaf, butternut squash, and home made french bread. Yum! I was thinking I might add a little garlic and onion salt to the Brussel sprouts when I sauteed them. The Parmesan cheese before serving them would be delicious! ETA: Oh! And I would love to join you and Adam for dinner....well....I could come and be your server! ;D I LOVE Brussels sprouts to!! They're all the rage at the major restaurants in SoCal these days. This is a very new trend. Baby Brussels sprouts are sliced or chopped and sauteed or roasted. I had some at a hot, chic new restaurant on Wednesday. If you're eating light; boil in chicken soup base (no calories, flavors like butter and salt) add pepper. Yum!!

After looking at that breakfast pic for many long minutes, I notice the glass has a fancy sort of Moroccan design that goes well with the scalloped edge of the plates. And the primitive hammered-metal fork is a nice contrast. I think it all must look cool together when placed on the cherrywood table and set against the ornately upholstered and carved chairs. And with the greenish/brownish textured paint on the walls. Adam's taste definitely doesn't run toward the stripped-down, stark industrial look. I like it :D And that concludes my creepy overinvested speculation about the decor of Adam's house for today... I can raise you one on the creepy scale! I have determined they ate in that wonderful poolside cabana!!!! ;D Impressed with ALL of you!! I didn't even know they HAD a poolside cabana... *bows to our creepy ninjas* ;D HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OUR MEMBERS CELEBRATING TODAY!!gsp, kimimeiqi, pcomp762, ovationimpact, justsouthofnowhere and celeron,!![/b][/color]

Another way to eat light with brussel sprouts - for those who remember the ulimited soup we used to make from Weight Watchers many years ago - the one with tomato juice, cabbage, beef broth, and lots of low cal veggies. Just add brussel sprouts cut in half instead of the cabage. Delicious!

One more thing about the plates and glasses. One of my favorite places to shop is Zara home and in the last couple of years I noticed that this style (Moroccan like NoAngel described it) in everything about a house in general ,is very "in". The industrial more modern style not so much. More and more young couples are into this "old" style. I loved it when I was young, I love it now, never been an "industrial" style myself. That's it I 'll stop. Oh and I love baby Brussel sprouts, simple with salt and a little olive oil, constantly having them as a salad.

1 is actually not a prime number *ducks* #duck# Oh oops! Really? I must be misremembering my 4th-grade definition. prime numbers are numbers bigger than 1 per definition. Another definition I just found is that a number, which has exactly 2 divisors (1 and the number itself), is a prime number. 1 has only one, so it is not a prime number. There is obviously more than one definition, but they are all equivalent to each other. (probably more you wanted to know, but I'm math student and I couldn't resist, sorry for the math lesson :-[)

Probably the LAST thing I would have thought to be a main topic of discussion today - brussell sprouts. I love this place!

Let's play "Analyze the Dishes": The design on the glass in that picture kinda reminds me of a skull - almost like a mask. It also reminds me of that painting Adam has that he got the key tattoo from. Don't have a picture handy, but somehow that just flashes through my brain. Anybody else picking up on this?
