Since it's extremely slow I have a stupid but basic question.
We talk about radio doing 'test spins' but how exactly are they testing? How does a station track the response to a song from listeners?
Also in general when they are determining how much to spin a song (whether to increase or decrease spins) how do they do it?
We've talked about the 'under the table' ways labels pay for play, and I'm assuming billboard ranking or song sales have to figure in that too, but is there anyway they actually track listener response in their area?
For example 'Marry the Night' correct me if I'm wrong, but this single is not getting high on the Billboard charts because it's not selling, right? But what determines whether it gets more or less radio airplay? Sales figures only? Streaming stats too? Something else?
ETA: and when I say 'listeners' I mean the specific demographic the station is trying to deliver to their advertisers.

Flax seed oil makes a dandy vegetable dressing- I use it on everything and even take it straight. Most important supplement EVER! Back home finally. DD did great at her ensemble competition. YEAH Now I am way back trying to catch up for today. LOL Brussle sprouts and Omega 3's. And some other scary stuff seem to be the lessons Just wanted to comment on Flax seed. I take it everyday. But what I wanted to tell you all...it is great for ..wait it"..... HOT FLASHES. Yee haw. Really works *ok back to catching * . Later

My dog HATED vegetables of any kind. I could give her a cheeseburger and she'd eat everything but find a way to leave the lettuce, tomato, etc. She was a freak for bread and onion dip though. LOL. Here's a gorgeous piece of illustration ... (take note, Team Nose!!!) Oops, I missed credit. I'll try to find. ETA: Nvm, this version is bigger than TwitPic, so very easy to see sigs.

Beautiful painting of Adam. It captured the emo hair, the nose and eyes quite perfectly, especially the nose.. lol... but Adam's lips and jaw in this painting's too soft or feminine. Yes Adam has sexy lips but not feminine like this picture and he has quite square jaw. And the lips and eye lashes made the him looks like a woman in this painting. Just my personal observation :-/ compare to this

I love cabbage but couldn't stand the smell of it in St Paddy's day when we have corned beef and cabbage for lunch at the break room. Maybe coz they way it's cooked.
