This article says the subect of Adam's musical is still alive, so that rules out Jobtiath, who some speculated could be the subject. Not about Jobriath? Not sorry to hear that but sorry to hear it is maybe 2024 before it is ready. BTW, did Adam ever say the musical was about a gay rock artist or was that the assumption? He has been inspired by lots of rock artists and maybe some with interesting or challenging lives we are unfamiliar with. |

Not surprised that MATB has dropped in its ranking. It was a great little blip for Adam and got a lot of attention for a short time like many of these things do. It's one of his vocal highlights, IMO.
I was pretty convinced that Jobriath was the subject of the film, because that name was bandied about a lot for a while, but if the person is still alive, then Jobriath can't be right. Hmmmm. We'll just have to be patient, esp. if it won't be even be out till 2024. And that's if all goes well.

Good news that Adam will be on the JHud show on Wed the 19th. That's the day that I will see him in Oakland already, so a bit late for pre-Vegas promo here in Northern California I guess, but I am not complaining at this point.
