JHud's is in my local listings for 11 am on FOX. So I assume I will have no trouble watching it. Sounds like they will be singing more than I thought they would, and that's a good thing. And then there was that FB "rumor" I saw that said that Adam and JHud would be singing a duet on the Oscars in Feb. Sounds fishy to me.
Yes, syca, I also heard him say that he and Queen are working on something for next year.

I see that Fox/local station is at 11 am, and WWOR is at 5pm in my area.
I've heard that there will be a mixlr streamer tomorrow, but that is the only confirmed "helper" for all of the Witch Hunt dates.

I just found this new video on YouTube. I‘ve watched this vocal coach reacting to Adam’s songs before and I enjoyed her explanations and reactions. This time I find it interesting, what she observed about Adam’s pronunciation of the „s“. Maybe it’s really time for Adam to overthink, what he’s doing to his face? It’s nothing serious, but it gets more and more obvious and in my opinion less is more. Even more so, if it possibly starts to affect his singing. youtu.be/myNZGY5Gpz0She also mentions that the "s" sound could be a microphone issue. Here are just a few quotes on the "s" sound and microphones from sound engineers at:
Miguel Zapata,Home Recording Enthusiast
This is because the microphone functions a lot like your ear, and just imagine how annoying the sibilance (the “s” sound) is when it’s spoken or sung right into your own ear.
Except of course the mic is only a recording device, and whatever it “hears” is played back on the speakers. So that annoying sibilance is now forever playable again and again, to your dislike.
Audio engineers know this problem with sibilance, so they invented a filter called a de-esser, which does what it says - remove the “ess” or the sibilance in a recording by filtering out certain frequencies where the sibilance occurs. The use of a pop filter, which primarily attenuates plosives, also can help, as the “s” sound produced by the mouth also involves a burst of air which when picked up by the mic can also exacerbate the sibilance. This is why professionally recorded songs and audiobooks/plays don’t sound annoying when people make the “s” sound."
Aaron Marshall, Composer, Producer, Engineer
"It’s something called sibilance. When you make an “s” or hissing sound, some mics have a hard time translating that to an electrical signal. It distorts. It’s because it’s such a specific frequency produced loudly so it spikes. The “s” sound can be beautiful in voice recordings if done properly. There are devices called De-essers that help with this problem. Certain mics are better than others too."
Varun Venkataraman, Sound Engineer,Sound Designer,Mixer
"The ‘s’ sound you are talking about is called sibilance in audio parlance. It happens when vocals ain’t recorded using a Pop Filter.Certain microphones pick up higher frequencies than others and sometimes if the vocalist has a bright voice and the microphone also picks up a lot of the higher frequencies, the sibilance is more pronounced.Using a De-Esser,Pop Filter,EQing usually fixes the problem."

I don't know who this "helper" is for tomorrow, but the person is not the only "helper" for the Witch Hunt dates as I will be doing the LV dates.

So if it could be a microphone issue, why the hell start a rumor about Adam doing something to his face? Just to give the nasties something to troll about?
Sheesh, think that's the last time I watch one of HER videos.

Sheesh, think that's the last time I watch one of HER videos. I don't think she was trying to start a rumor, she was just throwing out possibilities. And fans & trolls are quick to pick up on anything new and run with it. It could be something with his face, even just a temporary tightness in the jaw muscles. Or it could be the microphone or how they process the sound. Remember that Strictly is a dance show and not a music show, so they might not pay as much attention to all the details of how the sound is electronically processed as a show with a lot of live singing would.

I watched the Adam interview that was posted earlier, Extra? and thought it was kind of bleh, but did notice a remark about he and Queen are working on something. Did anybody else catch that? Still looking for the South American leg of the Rhapsody tour. Roger mentioned North America but it sounded far off. They would need a new tour concept.
