We just got home and what a night it was!! Brought my husband along and he really liked the variety of songs and the covers. Band was great, the audience was very appreciative, Adam seemed happy. I never sat down. Loved the energy and I really enjoyed the dancers as well.

sizzling63 I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I haven't seen yesterday's thread yet. I'm still watching the JHud videos. I love how Adam said -- "Fate. But sometimes fate needs a little help. You've got to plant the seeds." So funny, but so true!

I'm back to holding out hope for a livestream. I think pi brought over a conversation with Shosh that said if there was one, it would be very last minute. I always thought that would be their strategy so that they don't discourage real ticket sales. Fingers crossed!!

I only watched a small fraction of the JHud appearance yesterday (before getting showered with Adam goodness in the evening), so I will go check out those vids to see in what context Adam talked about "fate" and "planting the seeds". Fingers crossed for you and all those who won't be able to make it to the concerts in person that a livestream is going to happen!

Someone posted a photo of the outside and I googled it to see the mosaics more closely. Seems like Oakland has another wonderful theatre called the Fox Oakland.

The "Art Deco" Paramount Theatre in Oakland is beautiful indeed. We made a point to get there early and we had plenty of time to walk around, mingle a bit, and take it all in. It did feel very special. I think Oakland is highly underrated as it tends to be in the shadows of SF. We took a stroll around Lake Merritt in the afternoon prior to the show, and then we headed over to the theatre and conveniently parked right next to it

Nice to have your husband on board for seeing Adam. I love Art Deco and would love to see the two theatres in person. Obviously, photos don't really do them justice.
