gelly, by "trouble" I really meant more mean-spirited. I don't think there is anything essentially wrong with the photos and I don't see any possible backlash. But the timing, post EMAs, is saying to me that the posters were going with the, "see this isn't the first time Adam has impersonated Freddie and the first time it was kind of side street Vegas." It says more about the poster (yuck, Eric Mayron) than Adam. That Adam has never said anything about it, suggests to me that it is not something he really wants to talk about. I am sure he is not offended by the photos but when I try to put myself in his shoes (please universe make it happen), I get a feeling that it is the eye-rolling photo of myself dancing on the copy machine with a lampshade on my head at the office party (goes to tear that photo up right now).

I have tried to request from q102.com using the request form and I got this. After following their instruction on the tip of browser on internet explorer I still get the same thing. Will you get "Thank you for Voting if everything done right. I also tried my local radio station request form but still the same error. :-/ Any Expert!  Your internet security is blocking it. For the short time you submit the form try switching your "inertnet options" to accept all cookies then switch it back right after submitting. That should work. |

OK I know all of that, I'm just trying to see what is the purpose of posting those pics now. Probably there is something I cannot see. Never mind, I talked a lot about it, I have to leave from work now, see you later.  According to @mindchnger, EM posted those pics on his FB two months ago. Maybe he was trying to get mileage out of them for BFM or something? Also, someone else said that RunXander was trying to sell the photo he posted for his Kickstarter. What? First of all, I thought he already did a major Kickstarter like six months ago and now again, they trying to use their prior connection to Adam to make money off his (or, I guess, they're) "mutual" fans... Man, whatever. Seriously?! Are there still Adam fans that are getting sucked into the Kickstarters of past associates? : |

IMO - This is definitely Adam. These pics look more like him than many pics that we know are Adam.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did call ticketmaster and told them it was a site problem. They said it is the venue's decision not to give refunds. They sent a request to the venue to make an exception. Hope that works. They said to contact them in 2 days. I'm also going to call the venue myself. If that fails, I'll try to sell them on one of the sites. The ticket business is a giant circle -- the venue may well now tell you Ticketmaster policy is no refunds. Be tough and best of luck. I have gotten refunds for people who had this happen before -- so it is worth a shot. -- One other suggestion, unless you got really good seats that are in high demand, stick with Craig's list and fansites and avoid the commercial resale sites like Stubhub unless you are willing to loose money. I like Stubhub for buying tickets, selling not so much (unless you are holding really, really hot tickets.) |

Xander has known Adam for quite awhile now. I don't think he would do this to 'hurt' Adam. He has been promising to share pics of him and Adam forever, maybe he just got around to it. Especially w/ all the Queen/Adam talk that's been going on. I know he's friends w/ Monte, but I don't even think Monte would ever stoop that low. Not that my opinion means much. Let's just put it this way. This guy was definitely not thinking of Adam when he posted those pics. A friend does not release those first three pics after that person has just sung as a front man with Queen. So he may have known Adam. But, he is not a friend. |

IMO - Those pics ARE ADAM: the nose, the nuzzly place (the under his chin spot for those who don't know what that is), the wide hips, the long legs, the buckle, the hands, the bendy thumb, the neck, the eye's shape - all those things that are difficult to change are HIM. The fake teeth are skewing the shape of his face, the hair is flattened... I am sure there are lots of things Adam has done/participated in that we know nothing about - hope the pictures will keep surfacing  |

Anyone that doesn't want to hear any angst - PLEASE SCROLL.
I wouldn't call it full-blown angst - just concern. I posted part of this in the Numbers thread but many don't go there, so:
This morning I excitedly checked WAEB (my local top40 station & great Adam supporter in the past) for their new week's playlist. They added BTIKM 2 weeks ago and last week it was #44 on their playlist. I expected to see it rise today (maybe in the 30's) & instead saw that it dropped to #50! I followed WWFM & IIHY closely on this station and don't recall either one EVER dropping. They both moved slowly up the playlist.
Then I checked Q102 Philly (which I realize hasn't added BTIKM yet) and it also dropped there: from #88 last week to #117 today.
Too early for true angst. But ngl - I'm a little depressed over this. Both these stations are in my area.

The pic on stage looks like him, so until I saw that one, I would have said no. One can do a lot with make-up. But I have a question, aren't Mayron and Xander Smith 2 people involved in the whole Beg For Mercy mess?! Why are they positng these now?! >:( I agree. Are they trying to stir up trouble? They have been lying about stuff all over the internet (regarding BFM). I won't trust them about anything. However, it could be Adam. |
