Such a timely reminder, PI. ETA: I'm such a cynic, wondering if that Shania Twain quote is really true, or just spin because she's on the judging panel. I feel like we've seen and heard enough spin over the years (including from our Adam lol), that now I second guess everything. I think it's true. Her compliments are specific - not just "oh, he's great," but that she uses his music for her vocal warmups, and that while she loves him with Queen, it's his own music she uses. She attended one of his Vegas shows. I don't see any reason to not take her at her word. But in any event, I love seeing someone of her stature saying those things about Adam. I think Adam is becoming a legend in his own right and other stars are recognizing that. There I said it. The fact that his voice is one in a billion like Dr. May said is not lost on others. And I think many agree. |

I'm sure you're right, guys. I'm just so leery of anything on SM anymore lol...
Taumbu, I like the "legend in his own right" comment. And I agree, finally others are recognizing what a huge talent he is.

Very nice words for Adam from Shania. She was somewhat of a rebel in country (never considered the good girl next door) so she knows a talented rebel when she sees one, lol. Always wonderful when any stars sing his praises. Most of the time, he is the one giving praise and it is often not returned. So it is more than great and well deserved recognition.
