A bit late today, so my comments will probably just slip by, but I have to say that I'm often glad that Adam got his fame when he was in his late twenties. Sure, teen idols and rake in the big bucks and the big fame, but they often flame out in a bad way. I felt bad when I heard about Aaron Carter. He got fame at a very young age. He was kind of his brother's second banana. Adam was already a grown-up with professional experience when he was on Idol. And he was never heavy into drugs, as far as we can tell, except for weed. Mayb his timing was good after all.
I think Adam's little acting gigs so far have been just fine. He has a certain presence, and he doesn't come across as amateurish. Hope he gets more opportunities. I think he has potential.

I am feeling pretty neutral toward Harry, though I do see a good dose of stage charisma which likely set him apart from One Direction and helped catapult his career into superstardom. I guess he was also pretty smart with the musical direction he took. I haven't seen him in an acting role yet, but sooner or later it will probably happen. Gaga... I think she is a big talent, also as an actress. I did not like her persona when she started out but I have always liked her music and her voice, and she has definitely grown on me over the years as a person, especially when she let go of the "layers" and "extras" at times. I missed her in concert when she came to the Bay Area this summer, but seeing her live is on my bucket list. How does this all relate to Adam? He has gotten his opportunities musically and also in acting, and he needs to figure out how to best build on and diversify, if that's what he wants. Edit: To me, his biggest strength is his voice and his way of interpreting songs. I was definitely blown away over and over during The Witch Hunt Tour. Very good points. I think it was her letting go of some the caricature looks and brands that made people see her fitting into other slots. Adam has done well with the small roles he has had and with good reviews. I also agree with girldrummer. He can build on that. I know in the beginning, he said he wanted to be considered for diverse roles but unsure if that is still the case. But only being considered for gay roles would be so limiting as the straight actors are getting those roles too and winning awards. Before the pandemic, he was very good at showing all sides of Adam Lambert. And diverse projects and specials came his way. He looked good with eye makeup (not too heavy or OTT) and without so you could imagine him playing many different types of roles. He didn't present himself as some character (off the concert stage) who would be unbelievable in diverse roles. I am glad all this Halloween stuff is over and excited to see where he takes his career in music and/or acting.

Off topic, but my condolences to bamafan as she's probably at bit sad about her favourite college football team. Roll tide!
