So interesting got credit as himself for the Platinum Jubilee doc. It's really an honor to get that billing. It's amazing how accolades big and small come up in his career. Yes it is great. With Dolly Parton doing a rock album and getting great press. Demi and Miley getting #1 rock albums. Carrie Underwood now claiming to be country rock (she hops on stage with Axel and now she is rock). And Harry Styles being anointed as the new pop king and the new Freddie Mercury (he is getting credit for everything). It is nice to see the man who has been fronting one of the biggest rock bands in the world for over 11 years being recognized for something besides pop, lol. They don't even have rock listed on his Wiki tho he is also part of QAL. Just pop, dance, electronic and poprock. I know he has not done a solo rock album but he does have a #1 live rock album in the UK and Australia and top 10 in many countries as QAL. And rocking arenas and stadiums around the world as QAL. Seems a miss, imo. Take a bow and claim credit like everyone else when they can no longer compete in pop and country. Actually a smart move. HA. |

FYE is still my favorite Adam video. Loved the underground vibe and the patrons were unknown so it felt new, fresh and exciting. He took on a character. Followed by favorites WWFM and BTIKM which were more about Adam with a story. GT, CIH, NCOE and SP just seemed like different versions of him partying/dancing with his real life friends. Not very new or fresh.

Lurleene, I think my favorite Adam video is BTIKM, loved that one. I love the little smirky faces in FYE. I remember we were so excited when we got hints and then found out that he was shooting a music video.

Interesting that there's been no evidence of Adam sightings in NYC so far. Not that I particularly care about Adam posing with random people in clubs, but he usually hits the town immediately in NY and it seems that hasn't happened this time. I wonder if he's there, or if NY was a layover on the way to somewhere else? I'm dying to know what he's up to, if it's career-related.
BTW, I agree that Adam looked fantastic in those travel pics. I know Adam loves makeup, and that it's an important aspect of his self-expression, but I'm definitely in the "less is more" camp. I don't care for heavy makeup on anyone, male or female, so there's that.
