Just commenting a bit on the last thread. I've never been super excited about QAL recording new music together. I've always been very satisfied with sticking with the Queen catalog for the most part. And this latest interview with Brian makes it sounds like they are not really interested in it either. (The Paul Rodgers attempt comes to mind.) I am VERY excited to hear Brian say that he has heard some of Adam's new music and that it is astounding! That is music to my ears.
Hope QAL does make that 2023 US tour. (Brian did say it with a kind of "one last time" sort of spin.) When QAL is truly over, Adam's career perspective will change dramatically, but he will always have it as a major triumph in his career. He has lots of stuff in the works for the coming year. And that's the way it should be.

I'm with you, Girldrummer...not really interested in a QAL album either, although I'm sure it would be interesting. I know they keep getting asked, but I just don't get the feeling it's something Brian and Roger are interested in, and I kind of don't blame them. I'm very excited to see what next year holds for Adam, with and without Queen.  |

I’m ecstatic about the US tour next year! I’m also somewhat optimistic re his “one more time” comment. I attribute the wording to them being cautious in planning too far ahead. So, May be if their health holds there will be more… fingers crossed… but for now, ONE MORE TIME is awesome!

Well, at their age "one more time" is realistic. Brian has had some pretty serious health issues, so you never know.

Would love to see QAL have another tour as long as everyone is healthy. It may or may not be the last. It will end at some point tho some have been ending them from the very beginning, lol. And very happy to hear about Adam's new music.
Adam certainly does not have the time with his QAL touring, and his solo music career and other projects to do a QAL album. They would not have time to write and promote and fans are happy with the classics anyway. Brian and Roger wouldn't want to just drop something out there and neither would Adam. However, I would love for QAL to do a movie score and/or have Brian/Roger get a feature on a song or two on Adam's album. Adam has done a couple of "disco" songs with Nile so a rock song (like Lucy) with Brian/Roger would be nice. Hopefully it could get promoted in other radio genres and performed with QAL and his solo tour. But if Adam is going to take advantage of any cred for his affiliation with Queen for any solo work, he may want to do it while he is still with them. My guess is he will have at least a few rock songs on the new album for his rock opera. But very excited about whatever he has planned that is career related.
