Just checked iTunes and BTIKM is at #884 nice little bump from Leno which doesn't usually give much.

I think it is way off to think they tattooed that on their hands to remind them of one drunken mistake. They said they are having a dry January, not that they have such a problem that they need to permanently put a warning sign on their hand so they will have one last hope of not bringing the booze to their lips. I actually find this somewhat rude to them that so much negative is being read into this. Take a look at Adam performing--it's right in his line of sight as he holds the mike. Or maybe it's a hand holding thing. Those things make more sense to me but who knows.
When two people get matching tattoos I can only assume it is for a sentimental, meaningful reason. We may never know the "inside story" but it is obviously a message of bonding. IMHO
But really, all this other talk pales in comparison to the awesomeness of last night. Still blown away. It was so much more than I even expected!
ETA: I must be in a fundamentalist mood but, again, the man's hand was shaking. He may be Superman but I don't think he purposely could do that in order to enhance his performance. Rather than read into it, take the obvious explanation.

OMFGMusic OMFG Music .@adamlambert knocks his first performance of "Better Than I Know Myself" out of the park: omfgmusic.net/2012/01/adam-l… 5 minutes ago www.omfgmusic.net/2012/01/adam-lambert-performs-new-single-for.htmlAdam Lambert performs new single for the first time Adam stopped by the Tonight Show to give a stirring rendition of his current single "Better Than I Know Myself," in advance of its official the radio release. I smell another hit for Glambert. As I said before, the single is pure pop gold.

Y'all -- if you live in the US, please take a moment and sign the Google petition to the US Congress. Link and info on page 1. Please make sure that your representative know that they do not work for the Entertainment conglomerates and the Internet should remain free and open. There are smarter ways to prevent piracy. ----- Now back to Adam. I loved the performance. I love the great press even more. I expect we will get a somewhat different version from Ellen. ALSO -- band was also great. Kevin is great and having strong backup vocals along with the backing tracks was wonderful. EtA: Keep you eye out for a HD Video Download. I know terra usually has great audio to go with the video and posts many download versions. I'm waiting for her 1 GB version.

You guys! I didn't have anyone to flail with during the last era (except my GREAT sister), so it's a trip to read everyone's reactions. I usually wait to flail until I have had a chance to settle down and think about things a little and watch the video a few times. Thanks to everyone for the great gifs and comments and screen caps and hats off to the ladies who actually got to attend. I LOVED the performance last night on Jay. I love the opening chord of BTIKM and I felt chills as soon as it started (or at least as many chills as I could after sitting through those singularly lame interviews with the other guests). I did think Adam had a little bit of nerves/adrenaline at the beginning and didn't seem as emotionally resonate as he might have for a few lines, but that quickly passed. I loved the arrangement, especially the drums. It was a little bit of a distraction for me looking at the new band but that was just me being curious. They were great and very unobtrusive. Adam was SO HANDSOME last night, WOW! I loved his hair and adored his glowing ears. I don't know if that was intentional or not but it was so dear. He looked very young. I loved the wailing that he added starting with the second chorus. I was in anticipation of how he would do the bridge and I loved it just as much as I thought I would. The vulnerable pleading eyes are just a killer for me. When he took it down very quiet I thought I would die. That WAIL at the end, OMG. So that's my astute analysis LOL. P.S. Gelly, I love your theory about OOFTA. That would explain the non-conventional spelling (not uff da) and I hope it's true. I keep smiling thinking about "uff da" and the lady from Minnesota I used to work with who said it all the time. This was 20 years ago, and she seemed like such a middle-aged square to me. Now I realize I am older now than she was then! Hope she's out there somewhere and maybe even a Glambert. P.P.S. spiffysmile, I have a Sennheiser headset, my second. Got it for the new era. Very good and not nearly as expensive as a Bose.
