Re Sauli- I think he is adorable and I'm so happy the two of them are together - but I certainly don't need to see pics, gifs and discussion of Sauli on every page. I do NEED to see pics, gifs and discussion of Adam on every page. And therein lies the difference for me. 8-) I'm sorry, but I agree. Aren't we owed like 45 145 Adam pictures right now? We are getting the most news we've had about Adam in the past year. And it's FANTASTIC!!! Adam Storm has started in incredible force and yet somehow the subject gets getting changed back to Sauli. Look I love the guy, and think he's adorable and LOVE that he and Adam are so happy, but he is Adam's significant other and has nothing to do with his career and why we are here. Sauli has kept us informed and happy and laughing through some long, tough waiting and I adore him for it. I love his blogs and am incredibly grateful for all the hard work Mia and Zinnia put into Sauli Central, but THIS IS THE DEBUT SINGLE PERFORMANCE REVIEWS WE ARE GETTING HERE. And the most detail we've heard about the album we've been waiting a YEAR for. I don't know, I guess I'm mystified ... it happened last night on Twitter. We went from flailing our brains out over that magnificent performance to trending OOFTA in five minutes. Suddenly Adam's STELLAR achievement was overshadowed by random flail and speculation about something private between Adam and Sauli. Sorry, being totally candid here, but I don't get it. I agree with you. I like Sauli. He's adorable. But he's not the object of my affection/obsession/interest. I refuse to speculate on OOFTA. DAMN, THAT LENO PERFORMANCE BLEW MY MIND!!!! |

Adam Lambert Debuts New Single, Look, Band Lineup on ‘Leno’Adamstorm 2012 has officially begun, Glamberts! I hope you guys have plenty of space cleared on your DVRs.Last night, Adam Lambert performed his new single from his upcoming sophomore album Trespassing, "Better Than I Know Myself," on "The Tonight Show," in what was the first of many TV appearances to come (he'll also be on "Ellen" tomorrow, Thursday). The performance was America's introduction not only to the live version of the song, but to Adam's ace new band lineup: Ashley Dzerigian (My Jerusalem, Money Mark, Square On Square) on bass, Isaac Carpenter (Jesse Jo Stark, Ravi Dhar, Loudermilk) on drums, new Lambert musical director Kevin Hastings (Rihanna) on keys, and longtime band member Tommy Joe Ratliff moving to lead guitar. And for some more casual fans, who best know Adam for his most outrageous Glam Nation fashion looks (spackled-on guyliner, copiously metal-riveted leather jackets, foot-high Kiss boots, cobalt hair-streaks), the Glamerican Idol's understated "Leno" performance also served as an introduction to his smooth, sophisticated new image. Undergoing a mild makeunder that actually brought to mind his Season 8 "American Idol" look from his acoustic "Tracks Of My Tears" performance (or maybe his 2009 Details cover shoot), Adam appeared on "Leno" flaunting a natty designer suit, a sleek physique, and subtle tone-on-tone hair highlights. Oh, but he was still wearing his signature black nail lacquer, of course--the guy is a rock star, after all. Last thing on my mind last night going to bed was to get up in the morning and find out more about oofta. Got up and lol other people were doing the same thing. Since Adam tweeted it out last week it's now in our Glambert lexicon and after all he has invited us to trespass. They put those tatoos out where they are always visible and the comparison photo is one of the news items Q3 posted on page 1. So I'm happy to see Sauli mentions and I'm also happy to head over to our Sauli Central threads when something comes up. If all I wanted was news and no interaction with the rest of you all I'd still be back on TV without Pity's site where you get banned if you bring up non news items. Nope, happy here.

I ask, semi-rhetorically, is there ANY pop star today, other than possibly Adele, who sings as well live as Adam Lambert? (If so, please send me some MP3s, because I'd love to hear them. But I suspect my inbox will remain empty...) |

Before the performance there were some people who thought Adam's look was "boring", but I haven't heard any complaints now. I am guessing that after watching the man in action he proved to be as hot as ever??? Or maybe it was just me who is pleasantly surprised just how sexy a man can look in a plain suit. Wow, does that fit him fine! He sure brings a whole new meaning to a suit!!! I think I may have found a replacement to my EMA watching addiction.... Wasn't MY favourite look, (mandarin collared shirt, no tie) and my daughter thought he looked like a priest....but there is nothing sexier to me than Adam Lambert in a tailored suit....  Not sure if this was mentioned but it is not a Mandarin collared shirt. It is a 1960s styled shirt with the very thin button down collar. It was a retro look for me. Gosh, I just loved it! |

So I've decided I am just going to spam the thread with stuff from the Dean Piper review. Bear with me. I am too excited to be stopped. So I heard six songs today. Three are sure fire radio and chart hits – easily. And this is aside from the lead single Better Than I Know Myself.
That track is a ‘soft launch’ to an album like this.YESS... This is what I was hoping Okay, for those of you who know the UJ... Who exactly is Dean Piper? How well known is he? |
