That may be, but fugly shorts are fugly. And, honestly, I haven't yet seen Adam wearing a pair of shorts that aren't fugly. Ok, the black ones verge more towards dorky than uber-fugly, but that isn't significantly better. : How about these? They have Adam written all over them. Been wondering if Sauli has got Adam doing some weight training and body building? Fun to think about, although when will we catch Adam in a swimsuit again? Agree that the huge shorts are "in" for jogging, sports in general. My son is a dancer, and he has tons of these that he wears for dance/cheer practice.

But I do believe "this little blond guy" has had some influence on Adam's music b/c Adam has said that himself in interviews, or does Adam say things he does not mean?

[grins] Adam owns sneakers!! [grins wider] And yet another pair of poorly fitting, incredibly unflattering shorts! Shorts are always pretty much unflattering ESP men's shorts don't know why. You could be Adonis and still shorts would make you look like a dork.

WHOA! that was fast, isn't that like +100 spins in 1 day?! False alarm folks, those numbers were including unmonitored stations. The monitored chart position is still 45. Just a little over excitement glitch. ;D

However, this is NOT a false alarm! # 698 on i-Tunes. It was out of the Top 1000 before Leno!

cassie, I see you are online. I have a question that is sort of Adam related as it pertains to calling radio stations and although it is not about music, it is about voice. I listen to the local Kissfm station during my commute and when they get call ins (mostly from females) the voices sound so young. Occasionally there is someone who is clearly older but I can not pinpoint why I think one voice is older and one younger. My question is ... do people's voices coarsen over time and is that what I am hearing or is it pitch? I have thought about calling the stations here but I just know that it would be clear that I am not really their demographic even if I said collegey kinds of things. I have a deep voice but I have always had one, sang tenor in my teens. I know I sounded funny today in the car trying to talk like a twenty something. LOL. Any thoughts? Great question. While after menopause a woman's voice may lower a bit, and also if she smokes for a long time, girls also have changes in their voices during adolescence. The vocal cords get longer. It is just not as pronounced as men's. This happens between the ages of 13-17 approximately. In my experience, however, I think that the deepening and extra richness in a woman's voice has more to do with her maturing mentally. To a certain extent, that high, childish sounding voice is a learned behavior, along with a teen's unique speech patterns. I think as a woman matures, she learns to embrace her power, and that is reflected in her speech patterns, tho she may not intentionally change her habits. I teach folks to interpret for people who are deaf. I frequently have "girls" in their twenties who still sound "wimpy" and powerless. that is undesirable when speaking for the deaf person, especially if that person is male. It gives the impression that the deaf person is immature and weak. These women haven't learned how to expand their chest, use good breath control and speak with power. I have to coach them much like I would coach a vocal student. I also have to teach them how to use more mature speech patterns and intonations instead of the barbie doll, valley girl affectations. You could probably imitate a teenaged girl by collapsing your chest and pitching your voice higher while letting more air thru your vocal cords. Add to that the sing-song inflections, especially at the end of sentences, and you might convince someone. But, is it worth it? I say request Adam with a powerful, confident voice. Own it, sister!
