I have a Spotify subscription but don't use it much. Tho I have a playlist with Adam's music and QAL music that I play 24/7 with the volume down. It mostly consists of Velvet songs and songs like Believe, Please Come Home for Christmas, WWFM, GT and several cuts Adam has done for special projects. I got a Wrapped playlist from Spotify "top songs you loved most for 2022." There are many Adam and QAL songs that are on my playlists and some that were at one time. But also included are several songs from Todrick Hall, David Archuleta, Sam Sparrow, (Danny Gokey, Jordan Smith religious/inspirational music) and some others I don't really know. WTF, I don't listen to any of those people. And I certainly don't have any of them on any of my streaming playlists, lol. Very weird. I don't know why they included these artists in music that I loved for 2022. I didn't. HA. When your Adam playlist ends, Spotify continues to play other songs that their alogarithm guesses you would like (Adam was on AI, so it plays other AI alumni, and Adam is gay, so it plays other LGBTQ artists, and so on). Since it's silenced, you didn't know these songs were playing. I have it on a continued loop. When it ends it starts over with my playlist. I don't listen but I do go back in to check and my adam/QAL songs are always playing. And all of the artist that it has listed are not gay. Jordan Smith, Gokey, Rob Thomas, Echosmith etc. Not a big deal I guess but I never stream those other people.

Lurleene, you mention Todrick, Sam Sparrow and David Archuleta in your post...they're all gay.
ETA: I'm not on Spotify, but is it like Youtube where your feed gets overtaken by "recommendations"...also Facebook?

Hello all!! I’m still here, not too often, but still reading. Hope you are all well ❤️ And since Adam fans are really good at voting… until December 16th people can be nominated for the TPi awards (that’s an important award for live music). Nobody from QAL won in quite a while, and since QAL has the best crew ever I think it would be only fair to try and get some of them on the stage there. You can nominate a lot of people (get your tour book out) but also just one or two. The ones that I really would love to see get something are 15. Ed White 26. Creative Technology - QAL 27. Steve Price - QAL 28. QAL Rhapsody Tour Also… you can put ‘freelance’ when they ask about the company mondialepublishing.wufoo.com/forms/s16ttw7o19nhn5v/Let’s show them the Glambert voting power 💪

I also mentioned Jordan Smith and Gokey who are not gay. And there are others who are not gay. If it were based on recommendations that is fine. But it actually said songs I loved most in 2022 and I took issue with that, lol. So not true. I don't love, stream or care about any of their music. I did like that song that Adam had and SS was a feature. But I don't listen to any of his work otherwise. As I said not a big deal. But I was just wondering how they got on my list of favored songs with all the Adam and QAL stuff. HA!

If you are leaving Spotify running without monitoring it then even though you might have it set to repeat whatever playlist you have set up it will spontaneously start playing other things at some point. It relates Adam to LGBT+ artists but also to American Idol artists and I think all of the ones you listed had one of those things in common with Adam. So basically while you might have been leaving it playing the Adam playlist if you weren't paying attention at points Spotify would simply start playing other artists. I have had this happen while playing an Adam playlist on repeat on my phone at work and suddenly other artists are playing and I have to reset it.

But even tho I don't listen I always check to make sure it playing because it shuts off if I close my laptop. It is not playing these other artists otherwise I would see them when I check to make sure it is running. There are over 100 songs that it has listed as my love ones( lol) and I only named a few that I am more familiar with. But they are not all associated with Adam or gay. Josh Groban, Jennifer Nettles? I would stop streaming my playlist if the streams were going to a bunch of artists I don't like or I lack much interest in them. There was a time a few years ago with Nick Jonas. I made the mistake of listening to one of his songs on Spotify (it will show if someone else is there) and he kept playing and I couldn't get rid of him. HA. I deleted the entire playlist and started over, lol. This playlist they gave me with all these other artists "that I love" I will just delete the whole thing.
