Who is Raye? @4gelly: Adam says that he met Raye backstage at the National Lottery , who he loves and they wrote music together ! He said that before , I wonder if we'll ever listen to it! That's what I was wondering...who is Raye? |

I wish he would ignore them too, Nightowl. No need to feed the trolls, it just gives them oxygen.
And I don't believe for a second that the online comments about his weight and the makeup don't bother him.

Oh my, family plans today, so bummed I won't be able to watch Jonathan Ross. I am sure it is going to be great! But good times with the family today. I am hoping someone will be able to bring the show over.......or maybe it will be on youtube at a later date.

Got on this thread with joy in my heart and then saw the idiotic weight comments. What's the matter with people? Do they say these things about KClarkson? I don't think Adam should reply at all. It just feeds the flame. But I guess sometimes it just gets to him.
Adam is looking at a very busy year ahead. Can't wait for the Jonathan Ross show. I hope it gets posted here. Also the Britain Get Singing where he's a judge.

And I don't believe for a second that the online comments about his weight and the makeup don't bother him. IMO the best option with trolls is ignore, ignore, ignore. Not only by Adam, but also by fellow fans. It makes me sad when, say, there are tons of fantastic comments under one of his videos - think "Believe" or the "Strictly Come Dancing" performance or "The Voice" performance - dedicated, obvious trolls inevitably come along and post crap, and fans go after them and feed the flames. It gives the trolls exactly what they want. They WANT to know they anger the fans, and the more the fans protest and defend, the happier the trolls become and the more exposure their garbage receives. I understand that those comments are difficult to let go, but the way to really annoy and frustrate a troll is to do exactly that. Let all the positivity get the attention. |

I agree, Cleopatra. There's nothing "sadder" than a troll comment on a video (whoever the singer/celebrity) and there is no reply...that troll comment just sits there all lonely like lol.
I see the same thing on FB, and you can always tell who's trolling and who is just making a less-than-thought-out comment.

On my little YT channel I just delete the troll comments on my concert videos. But I hardly get any, so I only had to delete maybe a handful over the years. I know a few artists, who do the same. Not only on YT, but also on Instagram. The problem here is: Where to stop? Some fans get angry, because their criticism of certain things gets just deleted and all the positive things are kept. On all platforms. And not all of them are trolling. I don’t like that either. I think thebest thing for Adam would be, not to read the comments. But I know, how hard that is. |
