Finally got to see Ellen and Adam! Took a huge amount of patience, had RL stuff to do first.
I LOVE THIS Performance!!!!
IMO 10 times better than Leno. Adam was so "ON", he sounded more like himself - not so much of the "pop" sound that he used in Leno. He looked more expressive, his emotions I thought conveyed more of a true feeling of the song - not sure that really makes sense.
Just that Leno, he was so intense, and this time, I just felt like he was conveying the message of the song more ~ more ~ words fail, more betterer, I guess.
He looked fab, loved his look more than Leno also. More "in his element", I think the more he performs this song, the more he will find just how he wants to sing it.
Jeez, I am babbling.
Adam, you were extraordinary!

Also, the music sounded better, could hear more of the nuances, keyboards more distinctive, drums louder, and the echo on Adam's mike really added to the sound of the song.

Also, so cute that he waved to Sauli, and some good shots of him, he looked like he was very happy to be there and be recognized. I kinda wish Adam had "introduced him" by name, said where he was from, etc. Cause just the glamberts know all that.
Oh, well, baby steps!

I just watched the Ellen performance of BTIKM.........I'm speechless...it was so f***ing amazing. Leno was good, but this is beyond fantastic.....he always manages to get betterer and betterer every time he performs.....so happy

Thanks everyone who posted the videos!! Thought I'd have to wait until the show aired in my timezone. (silly me - I should have known the fandom waits for NOTHING!!)  I LOVED THIS PERFORMANCE!! The sound mix was better than Leno, and when you think he could never top his vocals - well..he does!! DAMN!! ...and the interview...dying of presh!! "Hi Baby"!! OMG!! DED. His answer to to the Finland incident was perfect. How could anyone not fall in love with him??EXACTLY! I'm on my morning BERT break and was thrilled to see I didn't have to wait to see the Ellen vids! Rihannsu, your analysis of the two performances is EXACTLY HOW I FEEL! I love them both, for the reasons you state. And Reihmer, I do think he always seems so comfortable on Ellen...and I love the interview as much as the music! Durbs, as for your last sentence--just like the last sentence of the PopCrush article:
