Amazing performance! I love this band!!! The band is just the picture of cool, modern, relevant. I guess everything happens for a reason. I have to add to those who are showing love for the band. When I first paid any real attention to Adam, when he was on Oprah, I remember laughing at his band. Not because of how they played, but how they looked. I was trying to figure out this Adam dude. Was he pop, rock, indie, glam? I had no clue. So I tried to figure it out from his band. But his band looked to me to be a band of motley misfits. Each seemed to come straight out of a different decade and a different musical genre. I just had to laugh. Once I became a fan, I pretty much ignored his band. But watching the Ellen Show was the first time I thought his band looked like they belonged together. As bullsfan said, they look modern, they look relevant (one of my favorite words). And those are two things Adam very much needs to be if he is to have any chance of broadening his audience. |

Three frivolous comments from the Ellen show: Ashley's guitar is HUGE -- are most basses that BIG? And, Neil didn't look too happy with the Finland talk. Terrence was having a GREAT time. ......now signing off to Heart and Treat Me Well from Dog and Butterfly. It's a musical afternoon. She tweeted that her new bass is a 5-string bass instead of 4-string. I don't know that the guitar would need to be bigger for that reason. Maybe she is just small. |

I hate snowpocalypse coverage. For anyone in Seattle, I called the station and they are going to air Ellen at 5PM on Kong. Which is right now.
Been meaning to get an avi and come out of lurkdom. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.
