I didn't listen to this video but I certainly agree with what was said. Adam has some of the most beautiful and emotional ballads that never got widespread exposure. So many of them were award worthy but he can't even sing them when he gets on tv because hardly anyone other than fans would know them. But they are as good and some better than the covers that he gets much deserved accolades for when he performs them on specials. And they are better (imo) than many of the ballads that Adele, Ed, Sam and Bruno have won praise and awards for. I still don't know how this travesty happened to one of the best vocalist out there. Some fans have said it was Adam who did not want any of those gems released in favor of the more pop/club leaning stuff. But I'm still of mind that his labels failed to take advantage of his enormous gift. However, he generally only got one or two songs pushed to radio in the US from his albums. While others would get many more opportunities (sometimes 4 or 5) to showcase deeper cuts. But water under the bridge and we will never know for sure. HA! |
