Thanks, Adamrocks. No matter what people try to say positively about the rat, I heard on NPR today that Chinese women arranged to have babies in the Year of the Dragon--estimate 10% more babies this year. One woman said I needed my son born as a dragon, my daughter is a rat. :-/ I'm an Ox and my husband's a Rat. The Chinese "Flood" mythology says that of all the animals fighting to reach ground during the great flood the Ox reached it first....EXCEPT - the rat had been hitching a ride on his back and jumped off just in time to become FIRST instead. Very sneaky those rats!! But survivors and creative! ;D Yes, we RATZ are very creative! ;D  |

Don't take this TOO seriously, but I agree with Moser!! I was watching AI and thinking the exact same thing...especially with that college guy. I actually did not think he would even make it...he was not terrible but definitely nothing special....sheesh. When I heard them go on and on I was wondering what they were smoking, frankly. It does not look like they learned much from last season. seriously....less and less really good singers will even try out if this is the standard they are looking for..... I tried to watch but gave up, but didn't delete from DVR so may try again later. Just keep reminding myself they are the same people who led Durbin to think he was the second coming. That's not an anti-Durbin remark, but I do blame them for the lack of grounding he experienced. Extreme praise should be saved for deserving people and performances, not for publicity and hype. |

Dying here!!!! Just wanted to comment that I've been following Jordan since last week (or whenever the Electroqueer article came out). He is NOT just giving lip service. He is a very candid, opinionated dude and is not intimidated by fanbase harassment or whatever. If he doesn't like something, he calls it right out. EEEEEEE!!!!!! Just so amazing to think that as high as Adam set the bar for himself and how much we're anticipating, it really sounds like he nailed this album BIG TIME!!! Sooooo excited!!! The way they do it this second era, by having a listening party for all the UK music critics first, looks like Sony/RCA is really aiming the UK / European market. I just wish they would also invite Radio one and I want Adam to go into the Graham Norton show.... please... please |
