does Lyndsey always make so many references to other music in her reviews? Lot of these artists I am not familiar with. Love that she spent so much time talking about FYE, maybe some new fans will go out and buy it! Can't wait for the interview!

Can't help it - the more reviews like the one from Lyndsey Parker there are, the more skeptical I become - Nothing can be that good. :-/ ADAM CAN. We are fans of the best singer in the industry. We are fans of a very intelligent, articulate, experienced, knowledgeable, creative performer. We are fans of one of the nicest guys in the industry who makes the biggest names want to collaborate with him. Of course it can be that good. What else would we expect from GNAMFBL?

I am very excited about these reviews - let's put it this way, better to get reviews of this type than bad or lukewarm reviews.
However, I am now recalibrating my expectations. I would be happy if this album does as well as FYE. Anything better would be omgamazing! but not expected. Lindsey gave FYE extraordinary reviews too. IIRC, she sneak peaked Music Again and thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. So I am trying to put things in context.

Yes, Lyndsey does make cross-references to other artists in a lot of her articles. She is Yahoo Music's mamaging editor and a real music geek -- she has a wide knowledge of music from the popular to the obscure. I'm with you -- I didn't know who some of those artists she referred to were either.

lyndseyparker Lyndsey Parker Okay, here's my preview of the 4 unreleased (and awesome) @adamlambert album tracks I've heard so far! #timetogocuckoo yhoo.it/AAe56t1 minute ago Time To Go Cuckoo! A Preview of Adam Lambert’s ‘Trespassing’ AlbumBy Lyndsey Parker | Reality Rocks – 13 minutes ago Thousands of Glamberts, myself among them, have been anticipating the arrival of Adam Lambert's second album, Trespassing, the way the paparazzi await his arrival on every red carpet, or the way Adam himself presumably awaits his latest shipment of magic space glitter from the Planet Fierce.... But good things come to those who wait, and based on the four unreleased Trespassing tracks I have heard, his sophomore album is going to good indeed. Actually, scratch that. It's going to be great. A lot more... eta: If you can't download from the link, I have c/p the whole article here: adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=adam2&thread=64&page=24 Happy happy happy happy happy happy happy Thing bout lyndsey is, she maybe the biggest fan girl of all and comes, for that reason, with a whole barrel of salt included, but the lady knows her pop music, and is pretty articulate about describing pop sounds. And she has great taste. So fucking excited. Dammit, march, why you gotta be that way, always actin so distant and aloof...
