Adam Lambert and his boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen, head home after catching a movie on Sunday (January 22) at the Arclight in Hollywood.

The 29-year-old entertainer and his sweetheart shared a laugh on the way out.

Adam recently dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat about his new single, “Better Than I Know Myself,” and addressed the fight he and Sauli had in Finland.

“Relationships are work and I’m so lucky to have fallen in love with a great partner,” Adam said. “Everybody has their ups and downs, things happen.”

FYI: Adam will celebrate his 30th

Do CD Wow purchases get reported to Nielson Sounscan? Or do they not count toward charting?

For most albums,

The info at the link is not completely correct....but is much more interesting that the CD Wow question.

The following outlets (not all inclusive) report to SoundScan :

•Amazon
•Wal-Mart
•Best Buy
•Target
•Barnes and Noble
•Borders
•K-Mart
•Meijers
•Sam Goody’s
•Fred Meyers
•Most major chain stores with music
departments.

The following outlets don’t report sales to SoundScan:

•Most warehouse clubs (Costco, BJ’s, etc)
•Drug stores and supermarkets (except for Walgreens)
•Many independent record stores can’t report unless they have an electronic sales system
•Record clubs
•Hallmark stores”

About 95% of retail music sales are reported to Soundscan. All you need to report a sale to Soundscan is a music product with a UPC Code.

There is no comprehensive list of Nielsen Soundscan reporting retailers because their agreements with the retailers include a confidentiality clause. The above list is all over the web but it is not accurate -- and looks like it was drafted in 2007 or 2008. The retailers who report to Soundscan change over time.

You do not need to have an electronic POS System to report to Soundscan.

Many fan sites say that Christian Retailers are not counted by Soundscan, but most of them report to Nielsen and there is special Christian Retailer program for them.

Soundscan retail sales do NOT include Record Club sales (charts) but they are counted as wholesale sales (RIAA certification). These are not classified as retail sales.

I know that Sam's Club sales are reported to Soundscan.

Walgreens and at least one other major US Drug Chain reports to Soundscan.

On the CD Wow question --- and imports and web sales in general.

As far as I can determine, CD Wow does not report to Nielsen Soundscan for the US or Canada. If reported, an import album delivered to a US address is counted as a retail sale.

Of the gaps is Soundscan sales reports -- it is mostly, non-retail sales like record clubs, concerts and event sales that are not reported, sales that are sold at less than 50% MSPR (unless you are Lady Gaga and sell it for $.99)*, bulk sales (more than around 8 units purchased) and sales that occurred before the release date.

The deep discount sales, bulk sales and early sales are in the Soundscan system, just not in the retail sales total.

This the white leather jacket he wore during AI, then we saw it on Markus Molinary birthday party being blui-ish/grey-ish , and after the MM party with the pictures with the lollipops, and now he changed it to this, I must admit perfect color.
