The Getting Older video is so much fun! What a great idea. Those kid video are so cute, too. The message of that song is so strong. Adam really delivered. I hope he lives to be a very old and happy man. Thrilled about the iTunes status in OZ and NZ! Hope it moves up there is other countries, too, as people hear about High Drama and buy it!

The new video for “Getting Older” seems to represent Adam’s literal take on some things with his usual twist. I think it joins the panoply of genres, song styles, and creative vision of his other fantastic videos created for this album. It brings to mind how award shows seem to recognize serious physical transformations and reward them . I hope some of that spills over onto Adam for taking this “risk.” His acting seems at times more subtle during his singing interpretation, even though he makes sure to emphasize the gestures and facial expressions, and you can see how he has given serious thought about how to put the songs “on display.” His emotions in this set of videos just shine through—an interpreter of songs ‘par excellance.’ To quote Tina Turner, he’s “Simply the Best.”
In “Getting Older” we see the little nuances that shows he’s in on the joke, not taking the drama he creates all that seriously at times—his authentic niceness flashes through everything he does. This may be Adam’s visual/sonic/creative song producing breakthrough. Like others have mentioned, the promo has been terrific. What a singular talent he is!
