I don't know what puts Adam in this frame now but I'm so happy. That watered down, fit in with the others, was wasted with his voice, charisma, sexy energy and stage presence. I think it was MM who told him to tone it down. Well that worked for his other acts. They didn't have Adam's talent and needed a stage full of dancers to shine, but it never really worked for Adam. Adam has proved that he can hold your attention as the front man for Queen without looking all crazy and trying so hard to be shocking. He was headed in that direction with Velvet. And actually that is what he was on Idol and it made everyone take notice. To me he was always more of a rock star than pop even when he was trying hard to be pop. Now some of these acts, Miley, Demi, Harry, Carrie Underwood and others have tried the rock thing but they don't come close as believable or have as much cred as Adam. It makes him more interesting and exciting when he lets it rip and is not blending in. And he doesn't need to try to attract the teen and early twenty somethings like in pop but many of them will still like him and think he is cool and talented. Win Win.

I think Shania is a great addition to the panel. They all have their opinions but no one is trying to cancel the opinion of others. Constructive criticism is fine and they enjoy different things about a performance. Agree...I have not heard Shania in this second episode but I felt she was more authentic than the Sheridan lady, and even a little nervous in the first episode. Rather refreshing. Her crazy arm movements are quite funny though. I was not keen on Sheridan jumping up at the first glimmer of a note...or panning to the camera /grasping for the spotlight with standing up all the time and her outfits. I have not found a link to the second episode that I can get into... but hopefully one will appear. |

I just wonder, who’s tweeting on Adam`s Twitter Account? Because he sent a new tweet right when he was performing on stage in Germany. And that had been live. So it can`t have been him, who sent it.  Wasn't there some way to time your tweets to post at a designated time? I vaguely recall something like that or he might have asked someone to do it for him..? Yep, you can schedule your tweets with TweetDeck or HootSuite. Facebook has it's own built in which I think also works for Instagram. |
