Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Adam do a few European shows during his first solo tour right out of Idol? In fact, I seem to remember that he was the only Idol (or at least one of only one or two other Idols) to do a few overseas shows on their first solo tour. Of course, he didn't do a full tour there, just a few shows. Someone here will know if I remember this correctly. That Tel Aviv venue is huge! Hope we get some vid clips from the private show he's doing shortly! You are correct. Adam was the first and only Idol to have a headlining world tour on his first tour after Idol. He played 100+ dates in N/A, Asia, Australia and Europe. Tied with Daughtry for $6M (after expenses and before taxes according to Forbes) for 2nd highest Idol earnings that year. Not bad for a newbie, lol. The sizes of the venues varied from theaters to larger venues in N/A. 32 international dates with 18 in Europe. Those sizes also went from theaters to larger but I do remember he played for 17K in Malaysia and 5K NZ. He has been pretty consistent with the sizes of his solo tours. Not on the level of QAL size but not small club tours either. One of my favorite was the video of Adam in Cologne, Germany on the Glam Nation tour. He was on fire, lol. Thank you, lurleene. You always have the details! What Adam did on that tour was a a real feat. I remember him saying that he and the band came home exhausted. But that tour made him a millionaire right out of the gate. Even the other "top" Idol alums did not accomplish this. Not that fast. anyway.
