Needless to say, rather bummed that most of Canada has been utterly shunned...not sure why they call it North American tour...Toronto does not mean they can seriously use that term rather than United States tour! Booo...I had high hopes for Vancouver! or Calgary... I have a week to meditate on San Francisco or LA....never been to SF.....this is a good excuse, and good timing for a small vacation Yeah, I have rarely felt so down after a concert announcement. Esp. since I had promised my daughter who is now 7 that next time Adam comes to town with or without Queen we are going together. Last time around Vancouver was the opening show. This time there isn't even a Seattle date... I just looked at a Canada/US map and if they make a big fuss about this amazing North American Tour I will choke on it. Unless you live in the US east and north-east-ish area of the country, you can suck eggs! This is the first time I have ever felt like they are just on a money grab. I never expect Canada will get much but ...seriously....as kryptoman68 noted, not even Seattle. Too bad but this is really disappointing. I would rather wait for just Adam stuff than this. Perhaps they will live stream a show at some point. Perhaps they just don't give a damn. The did not look that enthusiastic in their promo pics of the interview...that we never saw....Brian did not even stick around for 24 hours....sheesh...

I don't have a horse in the race, since I won't be going to any concerts anyway, but we don't really know the reasoning behind the number of concerts or the locations. Aren't 14 dates better than no NA tour at all? They're never to be going to every single city that every single fan wants them to go to.
And who knows why they aren't going to cities like Seattle or in that general vicinity.
Could also be that they had to work around some of Adam's schedule. Calling it a money grab seems a little harsh, JMO, without knowing all the details.

Why the short list of shows? My guess is that Roger, and Brian even more so, are concerned about the toll the shows take on their energy and health. Someone said "Elton is 75." True, but he just sits at the piano. Brian runs up, down and around the stage for 2+ hours. And the energy it takes Roger to pound the beats for 2+ hours.... I couldn't keep such a pace.
I do not believe that this is about the money. Brian and Roger have literally hundreds of millions, right? Plus, the show costs huge bucks to stage and produce. I believe that Roger and Brian LOVE performing, and want to do it as long as they can do it well, at the highest level. Maybe that means only 14 shows. So be it. Grateful to have what they offer, where they offer it, for as long as they offer it.

I haven’t read through the whole thread yet, but I wanted to give my two cents regarding QAL’s choice of tour stops. I am sure it is based on market research as well as on stamina and availability of the band members. I noticed that the dates are quite spaced out, so I think that there’s still the possibility to add more dates. Or may be it would just be too much. Easy for me to not complain of course as the Chase Center in San Francisco is only 40 minutes from my house. For those considering to travel to SF, the venue is fairly new and it’s located in a cool up and coming location away from the cluster of downtown. I have never been inside but walked by a few times.
Cool that Brian, Roger, Adam, and the rest are still up for it, and I think it should be up to them to determine their tour schedule. I am pretty sure that the rock icons don’t need to do this for the money.

I was hoping for one a little closer for me but there is one that may be feasible. Most tours want to make money, unless you just need the exposure which is not the case for QAL. So I'm sure some thought went into where it was best to schedule and my state is always left out, lol. The last time they were in the US, we went to another nearby state to see them. They are more far away this time so will need to find out if others, who might go with me, (I'm the big fan, lol) think it is doable. But I am happy for Adam and fans that they are back touring in the US.

I agree… You are right it may be something to do with Adam schedule but if that’s the case, why not give a decent interview and say so. And I didn’t say it was a money grab I said this is the first time I’ve ever felt like it might be that…usually there’s a big fanfare, there are numerous interviews. There was very little, just dropped, no new theme, no fan presale. This is the first time i feel really ambivalent about a tour Adam is part of from the very beginning. Hopefully I’ll get over it and there’s nothing permanent… I’m know it’s nothing permanent…it is just me, i am sure.
