CHUNKEY Same stuff Rodger saying that he wants with Adam again amazing vocal range etc etc At the end of the video the reporter says that " with the MM winning the Queen extr. some people insisting that there is no purpose at all for Lambert to be involved" :  MM has good vocals, but they are miles away from each other when it comes to experience and stage presence. Everyone has their fans I suppose. |

The way the're saying in it, in the context of the whole video, it seems like they're saying that some people say that there's no need for Adam to be included at all with Queen. IMO . At least I think some people will interpete it this way. IMO again. I agree with you gelly. Is the reporter MM:s mother or something? It´s a hostile tone against Adam that I reacted to. That is not Brian and Rogers tone Adam said there is stuff coming this year. Not sure why this reporter is being so negative or just listening to the Freddy diehards. |

We seem to be having confusion about Vevo--can't view it, want to give hits to the background video, "now it's on YouTube." So I did a little research. I never go to Vevo.com to watch videos because Vevo pretty much posts all their artists videos on YouTube. Also, Vevo.com takes so long to load the videos. No one (that is, lowly YT users) is ripping the videos and posting them on YouTube. Vevo has YT channels for the artists it represents, and, therefore, has the videos on Vevo.com and YT. Vevo gets most of their hits on YT. I would assume that if you can view YT videos in general, you should be able to view Vevo-sponsored YTs. Is this correct those of you who cannot view at Vevo.com? Vevo has a contract with YT and shares ad revenues. Apparently Vevo is also now talking with Facebook about having them host Vevo vids when the YT contract is up. Here is some info from April 2011 from The Guardian: If you're among the hundreds of millions who've watched music videos from acts such as Eminem or Lady Gaga on YouTube over the last year, you might have noticed a logo for Vevo in the bottom corner. That shows the video is being served by Vevo.com, the music video site backed by Universal and Sony, and supported by EMI. But those heading to Vevo.com itself were informed that the site's catalogue of more than 25,000 music videos was not currently available in the UK. That was until Tuesday, when the site finally launched here. So you can now search for official music videos by those three major labels' artists without having to plough through the fan versions that clutter up YouTube. You can also download Vevo's free iPhone/iPad/Android apps and watch 7,500 acts' videos on the move, something you're prevented from doing via YouTube. In March, more than 52 million Americans visited Vevo.com to watch videos for an average of 80 minutes each. It may well have a similar impact in the UK.
That said, most music fans will continue to watch Vevo's catalogue of premium music videos via YouTube, which is where 90% of its streams still come. In fact, many acts now have both a Vevo channel and a standard channel on YouTube.com. Finally get to see the the vid, can't believe I can watch from Vevo, usually Canadian get second hand moment in the past! Yeah!
Adam in light side look very different to me in the vid but still beautiful and very handsome.
OMG to Plantbert and Cardiganbert he's such a homey person back in the time loop. Have to see his future dark side.
Adam needs to make a movie for us!!!!!!
When I saw the tweet ClaudeKelly have a second song with Adam, I immediately think of " Gone with the wind" ;D

What "some people" insisting? And then there are those of us that insist they couldn't find anyone better than Adam Lambert because there isn't anyone who can bring it all... The voice, the looks, the stage presence, the confidence and his own unique twist... Lots of people that I talked to after the EMAs, not Adam or die hard FM fans, liked that Adam didn't try to sound just like FM and was instead reminiscent of FM, if that makes sense. Maybe some die hard fans feel threatened somehow by such a positive reaction to Adam singing FM songs. Hard core fans are strange and territorial. Not us, of course, LOL. (I'm thinking of myself when people tried to sing "Adam's songs" on American Idol after his season.) I'm sure all of you were way more mature than I was. **** [wanders in yawning wearing lolly hat]
People are just getting the tribute band mixed up mixed up with the original members of Queen putting on their own performances. Again. Q3 has another post on this topic in another page.
