Normally when Adam is scheduled to perform or mentor on Idol there are a ton of articles anticipating his return. He is to appear on Sunday (and unless I missed something) I haven't seen anything about his return to Idol. Tho Ryan did announce the return of the Idol rock icon Adam Lambert on the last show. And the reason I take notice because there is never a lot of publicity made of other Idols when they return but there was always a ton of excitement about him. Strange. Shosh stopped RT or mentioning anything about him a few weeks ago, before the Fallon show aired. His US PR firm did some social media about the Fallon show, so maybe he is still being repped by them in the USA. All very strange. And kinda sad. Shoshanna has been with Adam a long time and has done a good job as his manager over the last few years. There was an article or 2 a week or so ago re his return to Idol, so it hasn't been completely quiet. I hadn't thought of that but you could be correct. Hope they ended on good terms (no matter who ended the relationship) and that he gets good representation soon. Everyone who works with Adam speaks of how nice and easy to work with he is so hopefully he will not find it hard to find good representation. I also wonder what is going on with Starstruck. |

Firstly, I have seen several commercials on TV announcing tha t Adam would be on Idol on Sunday. Secondly, does anyone really know what happed with Shoshanna? It would be sad, as they seemed to be very friendly. I can't help but think this is some business name thing. Back before High Drama came out there were some tweets to Shoshanna and she indicated that his US PR firm handled US things. He became a client of BMG when he signed on with Warner UK - I am guessing since it is in London Shoshanna had something to do with that. I don't know how many managers or labels Adam has worked with but he seems to jump around a lot. Let's face it, as much as I love Adam, if you have been divorced 4 times, maybe it's you! Maybe Adam is just hard to please creatively/business-wise. Still hoping Shoshanna will show up. I'm not sure that's really fair. Adam's first management was 19M through Idol, and nobody stayed with them indefinitely. He stayed with his second manager, DMG, longer than he should have, IMO, although I freely admit I don't know what went on behind the scenes - but it seemed to me they were perfectly happy to profit from QAL but didn't do much for him outside that collaboration. They were all about Katy Perry, not Adam. I have no idea why he even went with his third manager, PhillyMac, after they screwed him over with the Demi Lovato tour, but he didn't stay long. I have no idea what happened with Shoshanna, and it makes me sad they have apparently parted ways, but I doubt it's a decision Adam made lightly. In the end, managers work for the artists, not vice versa. I don't know why Adam felt the need to move on, and I doubt he'll ever tell us, but I'm willing to believe he had a good reason to make the change. |

They were all about Katy Perry, not Adam. Yep. For years there was talk of Adam becoming an Idol judge every time there was an opening. Adam had said several times he was very interested in being an Idol judge. Then when Katy Perry got the spot, it became obvious that she wanted it and DMG could not have worked for Adam to get it over her. They likely did work for him to get it at all as she was a priority and could command more money. Not long after he left DMG. Not saying one thing had anything to do with the other but they were clearly working more for Katy. Maybe he needed someone to put more effort into his career aspirations. |
