So many great things going on in the last few weeks! First, Adam is SO good at moderating these panel discussion things. He is articulate and relaxed and very comfortable in the leadership role. I hope those skills pay off for him throughout his life. I would love to hear his discussion about gays in the military. I remember "Don't Ask Don't Tell" was a real disaster. The Cannes experience has been SO valuable for him. Lots of high-end visibility, performing and speaking. MATB is being released the UK on June 2. Hope the response is very positive. And Fairyland, too. It's one thing to have a small role in a movie. It's another thing to have a small role in a movie produced by Sofia Coppola that is getting strong reviews. It all helps Adam.
June is so busy with the European solo tour. Albert Hall coming up on June 5!

Just watched the MusicCares Mental Health panel discussion. Very well done and well worth the time watching. I didn't know too much of Vincent before. What a nice guy. I will have to go look up some of his music.

How would Gelly be able to share the military convo with Adam? Isn't she Greek? How would she be involved in this? I'm confused why people are asking her to share. Also, forgot to tell you guys. We had lunch with our neighbor up the street on Sunday...her dog and our dog were bestest buddies (RIP Luna and Jack), and she noticed I was wearing my Adam tee from the Roxy concert. She got all excited and wanted to know if I was aware of the Netflix documentary. Of course, I told her I had seen it several times since I was a huge Adam fan, and we spent about an hour gushing lol. Poor hubby sat in the backseat, quiet as a mouse...didn't want to interrupt the gushing lol. This is normally a very reserved lady, but she just loved the documentary. She just texted me to tell me she had watched it again today, so I recommended some QAL videos, and told her to check out Believe and a couple of others. She's all excited about it. Can't wait to hear what she thinks. With regard to the military panel discussion, I am thinking some people didn't realize you had to be amember of the military. Gelly is ALWAYS there, bless her, to let us in on things we may not be able to see. I think just a misunderstanding. I was going to try to listen in as my son is a veteran of Afganistan. But, I think you need to be a present member of the US military or family member. The registrations asks what branch, rank, etc. Decided not to get involved, even if I could. But I am a bit confused, is this only for LGBTQ+ military members, or all? It would be interesting to see Adam moderate a diverse group of military personnel and families. |
