About the Neil topic:
As long as he doesn’t want to be famous himself, that should no longer be a problem. And as was said before: Neil doesn’t live that close to Adam that neighbors will go and ask or anything.
What I would consider a harder challenge: To accept that your big brother is fuxxing rich, while Neil hadn’t been able to afford a big enough home for his growing family after his son was born back in San Francisco. It’s a good thing that Adam seems to be very generous.

Don't know much about CA. but his mon's husband is VERY rich, so I am guessing probably nice. And, I do agree, it would be a hard challenge to have a VERY rich brother. |

Not sure why it would be a hard challenge having a rich brother. My guess is Neil has enough self respect to work to support himself and build his career even if he is not a star and rich like his brother. But if one of his rich relatives were generous and added to it, no shame. I remember when Adam was living with Sauli, Sauli always made it a point to let fans (some accused him of being a kept man and living off Adam) know he supported himself and had his own career and was not taking advantage of Adam or his money and generosity. |

My two cents, lol. My guess is when a family member or close friend that you love becomes famous and successful, you are proud and supportive. Neil used to travel with Adam as his assistant at the beginning of his career. When he tired of it, he stopped to live his life out of the spotlight. ... Oh those by gone days of Neil posting his Negative Neil essays, Uncle's storytelling to/about Neil, Adam's remarks and stories about Neil. etc. LOL! I found Neil to be quite entertaining or I would roll my eyeballs with the spouting of the "youthfulness" of it all! My memory was that Neil graduated, was looking for work...applied to go teach English in Japan...but did not get the job. So he went to New York and worked as a teacher for a bit.(No clue--maybe a temp position??) Didn't fans gift him with a keyboard at that time? (Those jobs could have been switched time wise... just remember both happened.) When that finished Adam's dad kinda pitched Neil to go as Adam's personal assistant so he had some kind of income/job. After that massively long tour ...didn't Neil go on holiday meeting up with I am assuming Elisse. Neil and Elisse were very thrifty, with buying second hand clothing, furniture etc. Neil and Elisse got a brand new sofa when Neil won a contest from a furniture store. We all saw the images of that! After Idol, Adam did say he helped his mom with buying a condo...whereas he rented in those early days. Who knows whether Adam has helped Neil. ie..My brother fully retired at 53...but I do not think any of us as siblings ever thought he would gift us money, although his 3 children were pretty lucky! |
