Hi all! Wow, what an amazing day for Adam yesterday and for us! His voice sounded soooo gooood during all of those songs! The person who took the audience video of Trespassing's beginning and ending also has the beginning of WWFM and Fever and snippets from all the songs--he sounded amazing in all of them. How lucky were these people to hear that voice live on these amazing new songs! I absolutely LOVED BTIKM, but then again, I really like this song. His voice sounds perfect on it to me. In fact, when I heard this acoustic version, it made sense to me that this was the first single because he could go to all these radio stations and sing it acoustically like he did with WWFM and just blow everyone's mind with it. I thought it was absolutely beautiful arranged like this!
And then to go from OOL to Trespassing...wow, his voice is just the most wonderful gift! I will be forever thankful that he went on Ai so we could all experience his voice. As much as I love who he is as a person, his voice is the thing that always draws me in. Wow, wow, wow!
Ok, one other hilarious coincidence: The same Saber Tooth Tiger skull Adam tweeted is a focal point in my living room! My husband loves this kind of stuff, and I surprised him with this skull for Xmas a few years ago. He's an artist and we have lots of oddball decor in our house--think stuff you might see in Juxtapose magazine--so it fits right in. He likes Adam ok, but doesn't prefer his singing voice--Ring of Fire is his favorite Adam song because it's so different. He likes rougher, less perfect voices. But, I have a feeling he will get into a song like Trespassing because he will enjoy the thought behind the lyrics. I keep telling him that I love Adam because Adam reminds me of him. This skull photo proves it now!
Now, if only we could get that music video early!
