Wow! Adam wins a big award and the interview and press is more about Freddie and less about Adam being recognized for his talent and this honor. Reminds me of when Lyndsey Parker gave credit to Freddie for Adam's #1 US album in TSMGO documentary. To some, it seems Adam will never be more than this pop guy who wandered in off the streets to fill in for the rock god, lol. Will he ever get credit for his accomplishments and success solo or with QAL despite being the frontman for Queen for 10+ years? Adam is on his way to becoming an icon. I think he’s there already. Adam is creating his own journey and making a huge difference in the music culture right now. I don’t think he is worried about his comparisons to Freddie. Freddie was then Adam is now. Adam does get credit for his accomplishments and is making a huge difference in the music community. He gives accolades to Freddie because not only was Freddie a great artist but he lived in a time when he could not reveal his true self. Unlike Adam. It’s all good. Ha! I'm pretty sure I never said Adam was worried about his comparisons to Freddie. And I am aware of the time that Freddie lived in and how great he was. No one can forget, nor should they. I just thought it would be nice if Adam's award had been more about him. Just my little opinion tho and not a big deal other than an observation.
