Good Morning! Still reading page 1 but have a quick question. The guy who interviewed Adam for Bravo Web TV was switching from English to German so quickly. I was in awe. I'm just curious if any of our bilingual members could give me some insight as to whether or not his translations from English to German were on the mark. Adam is so talkative, I was wondering how the interviewer could take all those words and translate them so quickly! I'm so envious of people who have the talent to do just that. SlapDash: the guy was pretty accurate in his translations--he clearly had a good memory--but he was also just summarizing. He tended to leave out a few details but give the general gist of what Adam had said. But his translations came across more or less the same as the originals--he didn't change anything or leave out anything important. He did a good job! ETA: also, I've just quickly skimmed so I may well have missed stuff, but from what I can tell the German radio peeps who've met Adam are totally in love. They're all impressed by what a nice, friendly, charming, normal, approachable, good-humored guy he is. No surprise to us, of course, but still nice to see! I makes me very happy to hear that Adam comes across so well to everyone. He is so infectiously likeable. I'm glad that part is coming through. Thanks for your take on things. I'm happy! |

Hi again guys !!!!!!!! I've had a cable (telephone-internet) problem so I couldn't log into the internet all this time . I should tell you , it's been really hard . Actually, someone needs to call his bluff and ask HIM to play the damned thing.
In a way, I hope Adam does talk to him and either commits his usual charmicide or just flat out-snarks him, which wouldn't be hard. It's really easy to be a radio bully because your targets aren't right in front of you, which is why talk radio is so heinous today.
Oops, sorry, had a soapbox moment.

Sent all my radio requests in plus Whack A Mole. I sent an email to myself with all my bookmark links and now just run down the links in my email. It really sped things up. I still only find that one of the satellite stations have BTIKM written in on their forms. Quick question: I also request a few other songs -- should I do that or just keep it to BTIKM?
