The yellow eyes of Dark Adam compliment and show a connection to
the basic color palette that is used for Light Adam, all the soft golds and mustard tones of the set. (which also shows up in the Trespassing album cover). Nice branding there, Mr. Creative Director!

For what it's worth, I spent a few hours in the middle of last night lying awake, thinking about "Better Than I Know Myself". In just a few more hours we'll see the whole video, so if I'm going to speculate I better get busy!
The snippet we've seen just shows Adam singing the chorus. I wonder his his 'dark side' sings the verses and the bridge.
I think we are 'inside his head' in the video. Recently, in an interview, Adam referred to something about how his brain was cracked, and made a visual reference to that with his hand (can someone remember which interview?). He also sings 'make their faces crack' in "Trespassing" . . . maybe he is readying us for something.
I don't know how much sense I'm making as I type, but this was so clear to me in the dark and quiet. I think his 'lighter side' is singing of the need for his darker side, because he realizes that bitter part of him is where he seizes inspiration - borne of angst, sorrow, rejection, loneliness. He does sometimes feel 'cold as ice'.
In the end, he embraces himself - maybe even the dark and light personas kiss. After all, Adam said, during GNT, that in order to find true love "you have to love yourself first". Then, maybe the camera somehow fades from the 'two' Adams, and comes out through the pupil (dark) and iris(tan light) of his eye, creating the visual that 'shows' we have been (trespassing?) inside his head.

So much for random, middle-of-the-night musings!

Gelly, I got the same feeling-- A&S life view is very compatible. Big Brother really allowed Sauli to experience much of what Adam experienced. His modeling photos are so beautiful--the camera loves them both.
