My dh always says a dogs mouth is cleaner than most humans, maybe that will make you feel better? No, she eats her poop. Don't know any humans who do that!Gee I always thought that's what potty mouth meant. |

I don't really know why my dog used to eat dogs poop (she hasn't done it for a while now gladly)... She's on a BARF-diet and I always make sure that she gets all the right nutrients everyday. But she just likes to eat everything she can while we're on a walk! Weeds, sticks, blueberries - and yes, poop. ;D I know that many dogs just like eating it... But like I said she hasn't done it for a while now (but that might because of the snow idk...) |

Oh, and one of my dogs specializes in snaking her tongue deep into the recesses of my nose when she gets the chance.
She's gifted.

haha! The things you learn on Adamtopia! Our dog gets premium dog food, the spoiled little so-and-so. She didn't eat her own poop but was constantly trying to eat poop during her walk, in the yard of a neighbor who has three kitties. The vet said that the dog didn't have a deficiency. That dogs just like to eat poop. They think it's a big treat. The solution was to find another route to walk. Still I think I agree with Adam. If it's between kissing the dog with all her bad habits, or vomit then yeah ... the dog. |

We used to have a dog that had a tongue so long, and was so black-hearted, that she used to sneak it far into our bunny's cage and steal his carrots. Yes. She stole carrots from a bunny. From an OLD BLIND BUNNY. Talk about a dark side. |

OT -- girls will do this more then boys -- its instinctual -- some of it having to do with hiding scents (of their babies). |
