We need a count of how many of today's coverage are calling Adam the Winner of American Idol. Every bit of this info is being taken from that one Daily Star article. Very interesting! You would think some of these writers would check the facts before going public. Really make me wonder............ When that article quoted Adam as saying, "I heard faint little slithers of a backlash.....", I wondered if "slither" is a UK term, or a typo... or the author making stuff up. Didn't really sound like something Adam would say. And I don't think Adam would "announce" anything either before Queen did so. It's possible Adam was talking about the EMAs and the reporter used his words to fit what he wanted his story to say. It is amazing (and kind of scary) that all these other "news" sources would repeat it without confirmation. Guess they don't want to be the last on the bandwagon... To be quite honest the Daily Star makes a good chip wrapper - that is high praise. I want him to do a gig this summer with Queen so I hope the story is true, but with that rag it is anyones guess. |

I am irritated by all these articles who say he is "the new frontman" "Freddie's replacement" "joining the band" There's a HUGE difference between that and what Adam has said will do, which is COLLABORATE with Queen for a couple of shows this summer. He is still HIS OWN FRONTMAN. And has his own career. And while at the beginning some of these articles did mention the BTIKM video (great!) the latest ones do not, at all. Aaaaaargh. /sunshiny voice/ But other than that, carry on. Flail on. Thank you.  |
