(my opinion only - they weren't necessary to the mv) I know this has probably already been answered 10 times in the next 30 pages so just scroll, but on a scientific level fire sucks oxygen out of the room and one can no longer breathe. So when Dark!Adam starts a fire in his zone because they are connected, Light!Adam can no longer breathe. Think of a fireplace flue. Back to reading the thread. I loved this part. I KNOOOOWWWWW!!!! When I watched the vid for the first time I was all like nooooooooooo HE CAN'T BREATHE!!!!! DON'T LET HIM DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I headed for the blood pressure pills. And took an ativan. |

Its pretty late at night in the UK now. Seriously doubt anything is going to be coming from their camp today. True or false they are deliberately letting it out there. It's not very late in the UK. Shoshanna knows exactly what she's doing. And everyone Adam, Shoshanna , know the rumors.  It's full of WIN, peeps. Adam and Queen WILL perform together at some point and when it happens, they can address the rumors in detail. Now, now is the time to create buzz for Adam, big time. Due to these rumors more and more people will check out "who's this guy" if they did not know him before. And there's the link to the vid, as HSM pointed out earlier.  So, a total PR WIN. |

Late to the party, I know. But what a video! Wow! Absolutely magnificently done, meaningful, well edited, exciting, interesting, held me in awe the whole time, which is something I rarely say for music videos these days, and something I am certainly not saying about another ‘big’ video that came out today. This is all I’m going to say about Madonna’s video: There is nothing wrong with it, but there is also nothing right with it, which makes it a waste of my time. Back to this video: It is beautiful, it draws me in, wants me to go help the two of them, I compassionately feel for both of them. - lol
So, I am trying all day to catch up with you guys between work and RL stuff and I can’t, so I am just going to drop off a few points I haven’t seen discussed in the first 30 pages so far and take my chance that they are duplicating what somebody said since, but just cannot hold out any longer, it is just too exciting and I am bursting with the many things I would love to say, so these are just a few points and then I will continue reading:
Re The question: Do you love light Adam or dark Adam better? I tend to LIKE light Adam better, perhaps because light Adam is who I need in my own life. He is the one I am longing for. But light Adam would not be interesting without dark Adam. He alone would just be an average home-boy with a good voice. It’s the other half that has given light Adam the depth and empathy and understanding that he has.
Re: Balanced Adam. I don’t so much see BALANCED Adam, but more DUAL Adam, residing still as much in the same body, as the two Adam’s residing in the two rooms with common airflow were locked together in one unit. Not as neighbors in two apartments, but like two room mates with a separating wall, but very much dependent on each other. I don’t think the dual Adam at the end is one who has found balance, it just is the one physical Adam carrying the dark and light Adam inside of himself, sometimes reconciled, maybe, but often still very much driving each other crazy.
Adam is walking up to me with a face (and eyes) that encompass both sides of him, and asking me: ‘So, what do you see in me when you see me the way I typically present myself to the world? Which side do you see through my daily mask or cover, the dark or the light side of me?’ And with that question, he does throw it back into a world that obviously when it comes to Adam is split in their assessment of him, between those that think he can do no wrong and those that see in him the devil incarnate and very few who sit in the middle. Adam forces strong reactions in people and this ‘neutral’ and ‘dual’ face is asking, which side do you see, and has it changed, now that you know that both are there?
It’s an interesting question for us fans, who sometimes know so much detail about Adam and feel we really know him. Does this video change how you view Adam?
Tossing that question back into the thread.
