It's to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would have been proud of. "After the EMAs, I heard faint little slithers of a backlash from people saying, 'You can't replace Freddie Mercury'. But I already knew that." He added: "There's no intention in my mind of replacing Freddie. That's impossible. The way I'm choosing to view it is that it's a great honour and one I'm in no way going to shirk." For those who couldn't hear the interview: It was magical to perform with Queen. They rehearsed in London, went on a small jet to Ireland. BTIKM is the tip of the ice-berg. The video sets up the concept of the album. Characerizes his 2 halves. Thankfull to the fans. Nile - the coolest cat, he lights up when he starts playing. That's when Adam thought how cool it is to be doing what he's doing. Pharell - trusts his instincts, doesn't overthink. The focus in the album is on the vocals and emotion. Bad habbits - hard on himself. But he isn't hard to live with. True love embraces the "bad" parts of the other. Got domestic and started thinking he's boring Tour isn't set yet. Doesn't know which of the older songs would fit with the new - maybe Fever, BO, Voodoo. |
