Hey guys - just found some interesting material for the ATOP Strategy Section: "How Much Money Does Adam Make for his Music?"[/i]. Its Numbers, but thought it was more appropriate there than in the general numbers tracking section! :-) adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=strategy&thread=42&page=1ANOTHER COST BREAKDOWN OF AN ALBUM:
From billboard.com: How Would A $900,000 Gwyneth Paltrow Record Deal Add Up? We Did Some Math ... Check it out!! ================== ETA: Hey guys - based on the earlier article, estimated the break-even point for FYE! (Its good!) ;D adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=strategy&thread=42&page=1Um, yes, I'm procrastinating. Is it that obvious??ETA2: Ok - I didn't really bother with an exact breakeven, its really just projected income vs expenses, but check it out anyways will ya' ?

Just a reminder guys - PLEASE remember to post numbers HERE as well as the main thread.
Any number in the main thread will be lost, and frankly I don't usually have time to comb the main thread looking for numbers.
Thanks

I had a weird thought, as I went to bed last night, thinking about all the Adam goodness of the past few days. Do you all think that not putting the remix on i-Tunes was an actual sales strategy for Adam and RCA? People are obviously looking for Adam music and what they are finding is the 2 albums and the live DVD. Definitely helping with the soundscan numbers. Adam is sooooo smart!

That's pretty Machiavellian mys*&@^#r. ;D
If we were going to get deep into the overall plot, we could even hypothesize that anyone who would be interested in the remix (younger demographic) would be computer literate enough to locate a single purchase anywhere on the internet and would most likely download it free anyway so no harm no foul not being on iTunes. BUT for the demographic that still believes in buying music, acoustic Aftermath is a better choice anyway and it might encourage them to purchase both FYE and the acoustic CD. Then when they are totally hooked, bam!!!! DVD.
*insert devilish smiley here*

True, Linda. And young-uns, who would most likely want the remix, and do not want to steal it (because of the charity part,) would have no problem finding Adam Official. ;D
OK, Morning update (all Pop numners):
Acoustic Live #23 DVD #54 FYE Deluxe #69 FYE #94
I'd say the acoustic album is hanging in there quite nicely!
