I was so hoping that Adam would release a solo rock album and get on rock radio and possible award nominations while he was still touring with Queen. That would give him the best chance and cred of being recognized (as they are not kid oriented) in a genre other than pop. Many others have made a switch to other genres. But if he has not done it or taken advantage of that profile in the 10 years he has been Queen's frontman, I guess his heart is not in it. He long stopped getting much if any radio play, award nominations or recognition in pop (I'm sure he is aware) but that genre makes him happy. And he has so many other opportunities working for him so he will be fine even when his touring days with Queen are over. He was smart and successful in diversifying his career.

We've all been facing the reality that this might be QAL's last tour, at least in the US. Seems to me that Brian's health would be the deciding factor. I hope that there is a possibility that they could do some shorter tours or one-offs in the UK or Europe now and then. But the time will come when even that will end. As for Adam, he's got a lot to figure out when that time comes. We know he has things is the works, but so far he has always had Queen in his pocket. He's become very well-known and has a good reputation as someone who is good to work with. I hope that many "unexpected" opportunities come his way along with the pursuits he has planned already. Somebody with that much talent must surely have a path that paiys off, radio play or not.

Dr. Bri reminds me of Eeyore lol...I do think his depression tends to get the better of him. I've stopped paying attention to most of what he says. Yes, we as fans are aware there's an end date to the touring, but he's said similar things before so to me it's a little bit like the crying wolf. I do think when they finally stop, it'll be because of Brian rather than Roger.

Even if touring is not in the cards after this one then I think as long as the guys have their health they could do one off's a few times a year. Don't know if that's realistic with the way their shows go with the huge set up they have but fingers crossed.

Sorry if this has been posted already and I’ve missed it (proboards is becoming almost unusable on iPad). a somewhat sad post by Bri, mentioning this can be the last tour of the US https://w Yes, we as fans are aware there's an end date to the touring, but he's said similar things before so to me it's a little bit like the crying wolf. I do think when they finally stop, it'll be because of Brian rather than Roger. Agree. It has been said so many times by so many (including Brian) after every tour, lol. When it ends it ends but just going to enjoy as long as they are healthy and keep rocking.

I do remember him saying they’d tour as long as they can, this is the first time imo he said “last time in the US”. they did say “no more long tours”, but that’s quite a different sentiment. im staying hopeful, at least for the UK appearances.

He said IF he never toured in the states again, which might happen. Says to me he’s torn about this, knows it’s inevitable but will miss it.
