QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT last night at the sold out 22,000-seat BMO Stadium in LA. Video: "THE SHOW MUST GO ON" 1991 *** HERE is one of so many examples of Lambert's incredible, unbelievable pipes. His vocal prowess might be unsurpassed in rock music! ABOUT: This song is a purposeful power-chord-driven tour-de-force that concludes Queen's 14th album, "Innuendo." It's the final studio album that was released while Freddie Mercury was alive. The LP was released in February 1991. Ten months later Freddie was dead of AIDS at 45. Freddie & the other three: guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor & bassist John Deacon all knew that Freddie's end would be sooner rather than later. Two songs on "Innuendo" speak directly to Freddie's imminent passing: Roger's "These Are the Days of Our Lives" in which Freddie, accepting of the inevitable, says goodbye to us all; and "THE SHOW MUST GO ON" (written by all fours but mostly by Brian) that acknowledges "Inside my heart is breaking ... But my smile, still, stays on" - but "The show must go on." Note: BMO, that opened in 2018, is on the site of the former LA Sports Arena next to the Coliseum & USC in Exposition Park & the 110 Harbor Freeway in Downtown LA. It's a super stadium that's actually kind of designed like a mini (mini - haha!) SoFy Stadium.

QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT last night at the sold out 22,000-seat BMO Stadium In LA. FABULOUS concert opener: "RADIO GA GA" 1984 BMO, that opened in 2018, is on the site of the former LA Sports Arena next to the Coliseum & USC in Exposition Park & the 110 Harbor Freeway in Downtown LA. It's a super stadium that's actually kind of designed like a mini (mini - haha!) SoFy Stadium. *** FYI: I RECORDED this from the beginning of the concert to give you the sense of anticipation & electricity it created within the crowd; and dramatic build-up to the moment the band is first seen onstage. Queen are masters at this! QUEEN & LAMBERT has us completely from the very first moment of this spectacular concert!

The bright star at that time of night is Jupiter. Venus is even brighter right now but it doesn't come up overhead till 5ish in the morning.
