Ellen...final words ... my eyes a tad moist and the tissue out to blow my nose. She has such a way of saying things at times and her tone brings it home. Mia and Zinnia thanks a bunch for your continued efforts (a ton of work) Look what you started!!! You now have...a world wide reputation! What we learn about people. Would I have displayed the glass of juice with a sprig of leaves???? He knows how to plate with panache; he knows how to set a food stage. Happy juicing boys!! As Sauli's constitution seems not quite as strong as Adam's (gets sick more often) I hope he does not go down for the count with Adam's return.I too was impressed to see Kevin on guitar... sing ...play... the only thing left is to dance. I can hardly wait to see "if his feet get grooving" when he plays for Cuckcoo. Adam should no longer be contagious by the time he arrives home (6pm). I'm still not sold on that juicer life-style. If the thing extracts all the pulp & fiber out of the stuff that's not so great. Well, as long as they don't overdo it says mama. The performance from Mix Sweden is just gorgeous. I found myself enjoying WWFM again and I love the improvisations in BTIKM. He brings something unique to every performance.

That video of the Mix Unplugged BTIKM is the closest I will ever come to having Adam in my living room, just singing. Objectively, the instrumental mix was terrible. I know it is acoustic, but, you cannot amplify the keys and drums and voice, but not the guitar. It sounds tinny and weak. Also, Kevin's mike was dialed so low we could barely hear the harmonies. But, that is precisely why I loved it so. What you are left with is JUST THE VOICE. Yes, it was miked, but it was pretty much a "raw" feed without any reverb or enhancement. JUST THE VOICE. I cannot think of another pop star today who could sound that good in that situation. There was literally nothing to hide behind, vocally. Like some others, I, too, have to close my eyes. Visually, Adam is stunning, to be sure. But, auditorily, he knocks my socks off. Back to listen to it a few dozen more times. At the beginning, Adam asked for more on the guitar from the sound person. There's another short video clip that someone posted the other day, where he asks for more reverb. Want an MP3 so bad!!! I made a mp4 & a mp3, look up.

That is probably the most gorgeous version of BTIKM ever. Do you think we will get more video from this showcase? I am dying to hear everything.

Don't know where to find it, but that first blog I saw of Kevin singing and playing showed really good natural moves. I think Adam has a winner there. Of course, Kevin is working with a real winner, too. If they get along well, I think we are in store for some amazing stuff from them.

I'm still not sold on that juicer life-style. If the thing extracts all the pulp & fiber out of the stuff that's not so great. Well, as long as they don't overdo it says mama. Depending on the brand of juicer you can do the pulp either way you like, or keeping half pulp, etc. And Sauli can cook with what's left- you can make some yummy food with pulp! Also, aside from very brief cleanses, juicing is an adjunct to a healthy diet, not a replacement.

This Stockholm version of BTIKM is so good. Adam's tone is such a gift.

I have listened to the Mix Megapol's performance only once but it was so full of emotion, so tender, gentle and vulnerable. Adam was making (letting?) his voice convey all of it in the tones and vibrato. The crescendo was very carefully executed in moderation this time - not in a demanding way but just emphasizing his plea a little. Awesome! ETA Talking about BTIKM here... and of course I will listen to it several times later

Good afternoon, everyone I came across this article about Adam's London Showcase and there was this comment which I found particularly annoying: " I was there and though his voice was as unbelievable as ever and he was as impressive a performer as always (even when mostly sitting on a stool on a tiny stage) only the lead single, Better Than I Know Myself, and the best single from his first album, Whataya Want From Me, stood out for me. The decision to perform the ridiculous Fever as the other choice from the first album was strange considering there are so many far better tracks on that album to choose from and the other two tracks from the new album were disappointing. Trespassing is tuneless and Outlaws of Love is soporific. ” The person goes by the name Candlelegs, and her avi is no other than Simon Cowell himself. The choice of this particular avi is obviously the only wind she needed to unleash the fierce critic inside, lol The ultimate prerogative of any criticism is being extremely well informed about the subject. For example, I really, REALLY liked Trespassing. Huge hit, if I can say so myself. But I would never dare analyse it from the musical POV. Because I'm not a musician, or a music critic. If the person in question can top Pharrel's and Lambert's credits, maybe she can afford to call their song tuneless. What does that even mean? And Outlaws, sporofic? This is what the article she commented on says about that song: "However, it’s the stirring Outlaws Of Love which will push Adam into the next level of super- star status."Here's the link to the article: www.dailystar.co.uk/playlist/view/233798/Set-List-Adam-Lambert-Arts-Club-London/
