11.22.23 Adam News and Info

Still waiting to hear if FYE ever reached platinum status in the US. The album was so close when it was first released so it seems with the streams added it must be platinum by now. I have seen older songs and albums with updated certifications with streaming added from others but this is the first time I've seen anything from Adam, tho it is in the UK.

One of my absolute favorite TSMGO performance from Adam. When QAL released this video, when they were promoting the live album, it was showcased on one of those rock sites. Generally many commenting would always use any mention of Adam fronting Queen to say how he was not worthy. They always gave nasty comments and sometimes homophobic. The usual suspects would say Queen should retire as there was no Queen without Freddie. Others would say they should have kept Paul Rogers. Or chosen Marc Matel or George Michael (which was odd since he was also gay but also deceased when they made the suggestions). But almost any reason was used not to give Adam his props. But when this TSMGO video was put on the site, some ventured into the water to say it was a very good performance. Not one negative comment. I think they were in shock, lol. One guy was even bold enough to say Adam was actually a better singer than Freddie. I thought for sure there was going to be a meltdown but no one challenged the guy. HA. Score one for Adam. Most of the time, I would just brush off the silly comments. However, it was great to force them to acknowledge what his fans and people who actually attended the QAL concerts already knew. Adam really is that good.
