I don't know of another rock band that has performed an opera aria. Manowar did. But if you meant to say "I don't know of another rock band that performed an opera aria WELL", then you are totally right

I thought there was something being recorded on the 3rd. But, then I remember something on the 8th. Are they two different shows. Is the Westminster Abbey concert on the 8th? Then what was the 3rd. I am so confused I think it was the 2nd , I.e. today, he is a judge on a Xmas related show? Can’t remember exactly… the 8th is the duet with Beverly

I never get tired of reactions to Nessun Dorma. I don't know of another rock band that has performed an opera aria. LOL But I do have a comment about the true opera singers and teachers who have reacted to this performance. They all like it very much, but they sometime pick at it a bit with some minor comments. Like the pronunciation of a word, for example. I guess they are unaware that this performance was pretty much off-the-cuff I think it was Brian (?) who said that Adam was singing it as a vocal warmup during a sound sheck or something, maybe the day before or the same day as the concert. So there wasn't much rehearsal of it at all. I would like to think that the experts would still be impressed, maybe even a bit more so. This whole thing with YouTube is a big mess. I think they are all quite impressed. My impression is that they pick at certain things to point out it is not "real" opera. Of course, it is not, he is not at the MET. We all know that. I have a friend that is an opera buff. They are all a little snobby when it comes to the opera. But, the general impression of all of the experts , i believe, is that it is very good and they are somewhat surprised at that. Expert reactions to Adam singing ND seem to be 1. This is not a legitimate operatic rendition, 2. This guy has some impressive, legitimate vocal skills, 3. Damn, this guy can sing! 4. Tho it is not a true operatic rendition, with some operatic training (or, more operatic training) he COULD sing a great operatic version. I remember years ago, Angelina Kalahari (you know, the very highly respected operatic soprano) said that if Adam had chosen to pursue a career in opera he would have become a world class, highly touted operatic tenor.
